GAME OF FATE

Part 13

The car stopped at the mandir. The famous Radhe Krishna temple.

"Mishtiii hum aa gaye... chale?" Abir asked noticing her excitement throughout the drive.
Nodding her head to an extreme yes, she replied.

As they advanced towards the mandir together, Mishti in that pink saree and Abir in that white kurta, the family members remained awestruck...

"Haayee kitnii perfect jodi hai!"
The sudden utterance of the sentence from Nanu's mouth dragged everyone's attention to them.
"Wooooooow..." Kunal murmured...
Now looking at Vedant and Anamika his voice got a bit loud.... clearing his voice slightly forcefully he started, "Ummmm kitne pyaare lag rahe hai na saath me dono! Waaaaah dekhkar dil khush ho gaya...aaah!"

Understanding his motive, Nanu continued the flow, "Haaaa hainaaa Rajkot ke Raj aur Simran...waaah"

Vedant now stated, "Bapuji...Kunal...aap dono bas kijiye...hume pata hai kisliye ye sab ho raha hai. Hume to Mishti bohut pasand hai wese bhi. Abir ke saath bhi bohut achhi lagegi to isiliye ye sab kuch sunake bolne ki zaroorat nahi hai..."
"Ouu aapko pata hai?" Kunal asked in turn. Anamika now started, "Kunal bas tujhe hi Kal pata Chala ..hum sabko to pata hi tha .....bohut pehle se"

"Achha matlab mai har cheez me nanko hoon?"

"Haaaa N.a.n.k.o" Nanu responded in assurance.

This laugh continued when Abir reached the spot with Mishti.
"Areeee kya chal raha hai?! Sab itne khush hai waah!" Abir started.
"Nahi nahi hum se zyada to koi aur khush hai haina nanuu" Kunal replied.
"Haa haa of course kisiki smile toh rukti hi nahi hai aajkal" Nanu responded.

Ohh that blush! Abir's cheek turned red as he lowered his head...

"Hum puja nahi karenge?" Mishti asked innocently unable to understand anything what was going on...
"Haa haa beta chal aaja hum puja karte hai haina...chalo" Anamika now said holding Mishti.

And they advanced to start the puja...
Mishti stood at the frontline with Anamika beside her and the others behind them.
But Mishti's eyes...they were restless...in search of Abir... and as those managed to find him, she ran to stand beside him...hugging his arm.

"Mishtiiii kya hua haa?" Abir asked confused..
"Mu..mujhe tumhare saath khade hona hai"
"Aheeemm aheeem" Kunal cleared his voice and Nanu responded, "Haa of course...chalo beta Anamika kabab me haddi mat bano peeche aa jao"

Ohh God! Abir didn't find a way to hide his face from that blush.

Everyone gave a tough competition to suppress the laughter when Anamika said, "Aree Abir aur sharmaane ki zaroorat nahi hai aajao ab..."

And there stood Abir with Mishti beside him, just in the frontline...
The puja just got over when the pandit started giving 'prasad' and blessings to all and finally when it was turn of Mishti and Abir, the Pandit blessed them with the words "Jodi salamat rahe"
Mishti giggled without understanding the meaning which made Abir blush again!

"Uhhhhhhh jodi salamat raheeee" Kunal started making voices, "Ummm nanuu jodi salamat rahe hainaa"
"Haa haaa avashya" Nanu replied.

"Bapuji mandir se to bahar chaliye...yaha hi shuru ho gaye! Chalo beta aajao tum..hum saath chalte hai" Anamika turned to hold Mishti.

"Mishtiii, beta tum to bohut sundar lag rahi ho...Ketu ne bohut achha tyaar kiya hai... haina" Anamika started the conversation.
"Nhi nhi nhi...mujhe ready Ketu ne nahii ...Friend ne kiya hai" Mishti replied innocently...unaware of the fact she has just said.

"What!"
"What!"
"Kyaa!"
"Haan?!"
Abir looked up to see 8 eyes staring at him.

"Aaaaah woooooh maaaatlaab..." Abir couldn't finish when Kunal started, "Aree Mishti, tumhe friend ne ready kiya kya? Kaise?"

Mishti being the innocent one started giggling, "Haaa pata hai usne ne ye dress pehnaya mujhe...phir na ye drapes, pallu sab kiya...bohut achha hai  woh"

"Achhaaa?! Sab kiya! Are waah tumhari friend to sachme bohut achha hai ...haina Nanu" Kunal now looked at Abir, who was standing gritting his teeth looking at some other side...
"Mahashay, aap kuch kehna chahenge???" Nanu now said moving closer to Abir.

"Uhhhhhhuhhhhh" trying to break the trance Vedant cleared his throat "Hum..humlogo ko chalna chahiye hai na"
"Haan hum chalte hai...chaliye Bapuji aap bhi humare saath chaliye" Anamika stated.

"Mai reh jaata hoon bhai ke saath...agar bhai ko kuch zaroorat hua to...." Kunal now said looking at Abir.
"Par Kunal kya pata Abir ko Mishti ke saath akele time spend karna ho toh...aap humare saath hi chaliye" Vedant said.

"Nahi nahi papa rehne dijiye Nanko ko...koi kaam karne wala bhi to chahiye na"  Abir replied making a face at Kunal.

And the family members left...leaving Kunal Abir and Mishti.

"Toh bhai..kya plan hai?"
"Mishti ko thoda time dena hai yaar...use ghar se bahar aane ka chance nahi milta na"

"Haa to mandir ke dusre side kuch free space bhi hai aur waha aapke favourite red balloons bhi milte hai wahan chale?"
Nodding excitedly Abir turned to Mishti, "Mishtiii chale ghoomne? I have something for you"

"Re..really?"
"Hmm hmmm chalo"

And Abir handed her a bunch of red heart shaped  balloons...and...
Mishti's expression changed suddenly! All at once! And she got all lost in some unknown thought....

Abir stopped Kunal as he got concerned and tried to call Mishti out.

"Nahi Kunal, it's important...uske memory wapas laane ke liye it's important...it's a part of the treatment "

"Achha? Toh woh...saree pehnana wo sab bhi kya....hmmmm? Treatment ka part?" Kunal was back in his teasing tone.
"Reee yaar nanko..." he was about to complete when he received a call.

"Hello
Yeah..
Okay...kal tak confirmation chahiye mujhe..
Haa bye"

Before Kunal could ask, Abir answered,  "Nanko, I think we have found something... the boy I had engaged in searching about Monica Aggarwal just called. I think hume mil gaya kuch.....aur tune prepone kiya na meeting?"

"Haan bhai kar diya maine...iss week hi hai meeting"
"Okay...let's see..."
