Dylan came back tired from the movies and flopped down on his bed, and it was just seven in the evening

Even though he was tired, the only thing in his mind was that girl, from the diner. He didn't think a girl he didn't even know could change his mind like that. But he couldn't resist himself, and he wasn't going either

She was pretty. The only thing Dylan thought about was her hair, her wavy brown hair. He had to admit this girl was driving her crazy, and if it weren't for her he wouldn't be passing by that diner every day, at every hour

Dylan considered on going inside the diner, but without talking to her. But when he went to do it and was in the front of the diner's door, fear got the most of him and just kept riding his bike

He didn't even know why he was getting scared, he wasn't even gonna talk to her. But he knew his heart wanted to, more than anything in the world

Instead, he decided to listen to his brain, and just keep it with the usual ride past the diner, even if it meant not coming in. Besides, she was always there, he would always see her, either eating some fries, scribbling on a book, or just painting something

Dylan knew he was gonna listen to his heart, someday, but he thought that day wouldn't even come near him at all, at least not soon

Violet was sipping on the soda, the usual thing she ordered after those milkshake accidents. A few days had passed since the accident, and she still got some more. She wondered off to space as she looked out the window, gazing at the passing cars

The sun had already set and she was ready to go back to her house, right after finishing with her soda. Her mom really liked Violet of going out to the diner, but she didn't like it when she came in late

She arrived late a few times before when her grandma came to visit. Violet had earned some lectures about not being out late at night in Seattle, even if it was a safe zone where she lived, but her grandma got her back and told her mom there was nothing to worry

Violet had finished her soda, and packed up her things, of course, leaving twenty dollars on the table for the things she had, plus the tip. She walked out of the diner, hopped on her bike and rode home, ready to help her mom for dinner
