"I can't believe this! I told you something was gonna happen!" Violet exclaimed as she slouched herself in the barstool. Zach, the young worker that Violet considered a brother, was listening to the rambling words of Violet of the awful day she had at school
"What happened Vi?" Zach asked her curiously while cleaning the counter and drying the milkshake glasses
"Everything happened! I mean like, yesterday I didn't have enough milkshake spills in one day, but this time, it went all over my clothes" Violet groaned and sipped down her jacket to show the brown stain on her blue shirt
"But of course, God wasn't having enough fun, so I had to run into an open locker and all my notebooks went flying" Violet whined "My forehead still kinda hurts" and Zach couldn't help but chuckle
"Yeah, yeah, laugh all you want Zach, but trust me, if this happens one day to you, I'll be the one laughing," Violet said resting her head on the counter
"Vi, it's just that, the same thing happened to me a few minutes earlier before you came over," Zach said and showed his dirty apron. Violet's head shot up and immediately smiled
"Woah, what happened?" Violet asked
"You could say that I kind of tripped and the milkshake came right towards me" Zach laughed with Violet joining. He was glad he could make her smile after her awful day
"Soda?" Zach offered the girl
"If you wouldn't mind, please" Violet answered and went to the usual booth she sat on, taking out her things to do the homework she had been sent to have some free time in the evening

Dylan hummed to the sounds of the music playing on his earphones. Riding his bike in the cold, chilly air of Seattle, going over its streets and to his house
He passed by the same diner he encountered a few earlier times. He was weirded out by the fact that the same girl he saw the other times was there, scribbling on a notebook and sipping on a cold glass of soda
He thought it was strange to see the same girl many times over, so he thought this was just her favorite place to stay in
Thinking of the girl almost made him crash with the post mailbox, but luckily and quickly swerving it when he came back to reality
Dylan couldn't get this girl off his head all the way back to his house. This girl was changing his mind, and he was just seeing her through a glass window
