"Hello, my dearest friend! How was hockey practice?" Violet saluted Dylan as soon as he sat down on the diner's booth
"Not so good" Dylan muttered while trying to look away from her eyes
"Why? What was wrong? Why won't you look at me?" Violet gulped while trying to get him to see her. When she finally succeeded, she was met by scratches and cuts on his face
"Oh my god! Dylan, what happened?" Violet asked while looking worriedly at his face
"Well, I slipped when I was about to score, and I got hit with my friend's hockey stick. Next thing I know, he accidentally lifted his foot and cut me with his skates" Dylan explained, scratching the back of his neck
"Well it looks pretty fresh, and it's bleeding!" Violet said and immediately grabbed a napkin to try and stop the bleeding, which was no success
"Dylan it looks pretty bad. Come on, let's go to my house and I'll grab a few bandages" Violet said and grabbed his friend's hand, taking him with her to her house

When they reached Violet's house, they stepped off their bikes and went to the front door, Violet opening it with her key. Even though he liked being taken care of, he was a bit ashamed because of his friend tending up his wounds
While Violet was cleaning the wound with cotton, Dylan got lost in her eyes. God! Those beautiful eyes! He could get lost in them all they long and he still wouldn't be tired. His eyes then went to her lips, those lovely and alluring lips of her
He cursed himself because of catching feelings, he was pretty sure she didn't like him back. Why did he even see her in the first place? Was it fate? Destiny? Who knows!
He was so deep in thought that he wasn't aware of him leaning into those rosy lips of her
He kissed her
Violet didn't know what to do! She stood there, with their lips connected. She was waiting for this, but she wasn't ready
And even though she was still passing on the shock in her heart, stomach, brain...
...she kissed back
