A few weeks had passed and Dylan and Violet had become close friends. Today, the winter Christmas fair was coming to Seattle, and Dylan was gonna ask Violet if she wanted to come with him
So there he was, getting off his bike to step inside the diner. The snowy air outside looked incredible, but it wasn't that good to feel
Once he stepped in, he took in the warmth of the place, taking off his gloves and rubbing his palms together, like a frozen pizza was thrown inside a hot oven
He went over to sit at Violet's booth, waiting for her and ordering a soda. He hoped she would say yes, he goes to that fair every year
After a few minutes, a chilly breeze came in from the outside, announcing someone had come inside. Dylan looked over to see who it was, and lucky for him, the one he was waiting for was waving at him and hanging her scarf and beanie at the entrance. Once she finished, she came with her coat over her arm and sat down
"Hey!" Violet saluted
"Hi!" Dylan responded
"So, what are we gonna do today? Aha! Now I remember, I have to ask you something" Violet stated
"Great me too!" Dylan said and adjusted in his seat
"Man, you make it sound like if I'm in trouble" Violet joked "Go ahead"
"Ah well, I wanted to ask you, if you wanted to come to the winter Christmas fair tonight, you know, the one that comes every year" Dylan offered, scratching the back of his head
"No way! I was gonna ask you if you wanted to come with me!" Violet giggled
"That kind of means it's a yes, right?" He asked smiling
"For sure! I'd love to go with you, I go there every year" she said "But what are we gonna do now? It's still early afternoon"
"I didn't know that, I lost track of time in my slumber" Dylan said and smiled
"Sleepy old Dylan. Well, what if we go for a ride, and see what we can do? There's plenty of stuff to do now that Christmas is coming closer" Violet offered with a grin on her face, boy did she really like Christmas time
"Sure! Last year, I saw a new store of Christmas decorations a little further downtown, what if we check it out?" Dylan requested grabbing his coat
"Sounds like a plan," Violet said imitating Dylan's actions, going down the small hall to retrieve their scarfs and beanies

Violet was extremely excited once they reached the huge store called 'The Christmas Decoration House'. It was a new store that opened last year, but by that time, her family already had their needed decorations
She texted her mom if she needed anything Christmasy, and she responded with a 'We need golden decorations, for the whole house'. She was a little shocked at first, but she didn't dare to say no
After all, she had the help of a friend
"We have news" Violet groaned approaching the boy, who was admiring the stars that go on top of the tree
"What happened?" Dylan asked, concerned because of her scrunched face
"We need decorations, like a lot" Violet gulped
"What do you mean like a lot? Like for a tree, for the livi-" Dylan started but was cut off
"We need decorations for a whole house" Violet explained
"You're kidding, right?" Dylan asked, but he knew he was going to get a no
"I'm serious" Violet insisted and showed the text her mother sent
"I don't know about you, but I like to shop, especially if it's related to Christmas, so come one, we're not going to waste time just standing here," Dylan said and grabbed the girl's hand leading her more inside the shop
Violet's stomach was fluttering with butterflies as soon as she made contact with his hand
