Two months had passed, and Dylan made up his mind. Today was the day he would walk into the diner. There was no turning back now, he convinced himself he was gonna do it, finally, listen to his heart

He stood in front of the entrance door of the diner, ready to push those doors open, and just sit. No talking, just ordering something, see the girl, try for her to look at him, and the plan was done

Dylan stepped in, taking in the warmth of the diner. He sat on the first booth he saw and looked at the menu, an endless list of food. He decided he would just have a soda, the first thing that came to his mind after seeing the girl over and over

"Hello! Can I take your order?" A worker came up to him and asked

"Yeah, I'll just have a soda please" Dylan replied simply

"Coming right up!" The worker chimed and walked away

Dylan took this as an opportunity to examine his new surroundings, looking at every decoration lovingly. When he finished, his eyes went forward and met with these beautiful pair of blue with a tone of green eyes

It was her

She was here

Violet was eating her usual, just some fries with a soda, with her doing her last piece of homework. Zach came in to replace her empty glass of soda with a full one, smiling at her when he left

Violet was soon distracted by the ding of the bell from the front door, signaling someone had entered. Violet was weirded by the fact it was a Saturday afternoon, who would want to come to a diner when there is plenty of stuff to do

She pushed those thoughts away and continued doing her homework. Her last glance being a waiter going to attend the person who came in

After a few moments, curiosity got the most of her and she looked up, wanting to know who this person was. She was met by these brown eyes, these beautiful brown eyes, and she couldn't help herself but keep looking at them

"Vi?" Zach waved a hand in front of her face

"Huh? What happened?" Violet suddenly broke eye contact with this boy and met with her friend's ones

"I said if you wanted to go and eat at this churro stand a couple of blocks down from here, my shift just ended" Zach offered

"Sure! Just let me pack my things" Violet replied

"Great! I'll meet with you outside" Zach stated and went down the door

Violet packed her things and went down the small hall, meeting with the boy's eyes on her way out. Who was this guy? Why was he here? There's plenty of stuff to do in Seattle!

Violet tried to push those thoughts away, hopped on her bike and Zach on his, and go have some fun
