Dylan was currently sitting in the diner, but not every other booth, her booth. He was gonna talk to her. At least, he had the perfect excuse, she had drawn him, the best way to come up to her
He waited for a few hours until she finally stepped into the diner, her shoulders covered in snow. She started walking to her usual booth without looking up, concentrated on something else
Dylan was weirded out that she wasn't looking up, she didn't even notice someone was sitting in her booth. When she finally unzipped her jacket, she looked up and flinched realizing who he was
"I'm sorry, I didn't know this was occupied. I'll move" the girl apologized and started to grab her stuff
"No, no, don't worry. You can stay, I wanted to talk to you anyway" Dylan said. The girl blushed for a moment and put down her stuff
"M-me?" The girl stuttered
"Don't worry, it's nothing bad" Dylan reassured "It's just, let me introduce myself first. My name is Dylan Hamilton, ok?"
"Ok, well since I don't know you at all, my name is Violet Kennedy and I think you are gonna rob me" Violet stayed and lied about the part that she didn't know him at all
"I'm not going to rob you, I'm here because of this" Dylan said and picked up the drawing she made of him
Violet was shining red as a tomato, and Dylan was there holding up her drawing, smirking
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry, I didn't know you were gonna find out, it's just that I like to pai-" Violet apologized but was cut off by Dylan
"Don't worry, I like it" Dylan laughed, but Violet still was red from embarrassment
"I have the rest of your drawings. You dropped them yesterday when you tripped with me" Dylan giggled
"I'm sorry for that too, I was in a hurry actually" Violet explained
"I didn't mind, at least you said sorry," Dylan said and handed her drawings back
"Can I buy you something? You know, for yesterday" Violet offered
"That would be very nice, you seem like a nice person" Dylan stated
"I've been told. Now you hold here, I'll get you something special, everybody's favorite" Violet chimed and went to the counter
Violet couldn't see it, but Dylan's heart was pounding fastly from love

While Dylan was sitting back at his seat, Violet was sitting at the counter trying to get Zach's attention
"Zach!" Violet yelled so he could get out of the kitchen
"What?!" Zach whined his way behind the counter
"You aren't gonna believe this" Violet whispered
"What Vi?" Zach whispered back
"You know the boy I've been talking to you?" Violet whispered asked
"Yeah, the one you always draw, oh my god!" Zach whispered yelled when he looked at her booth and the boy
"Well, yesterday I tripped with him and some of my drawings fell, and one of them was of him, and I couldn't be more embarrassed" Violet rambled
"Well, what do you want me to do? I have no say in this" Zach replied and started to wipe the counter
"Come on, Zach! Help me out!" Violet insisted
"Well, invite him to your favorite meal, and let him keep your drawing, he seems interested," Zach said and pointed to Dylan who was still admiring the drawing
"Thanks, Zach, then please two dishes of my favorite meal and two sodas" Violet replied and went to sit back at the booth
"Ok so basically, this isn't everybody's favorite, it's mine, but I think you'll like it. Unless you don't like french fries, sleep with an eye open" Violet jokingly threatened Dylan
"Well guess what, I love french fries" Dylan replied
When their plates came in over, all they did was talk, eat, get to know each other better, and become friends. Violet had let him keep the drawing, and Dylan was sure he was gonna hang it up in his room
Dylan didn't know Violet was kind of attracted to him, but Violet didn't know Dylan felt the same way
