He sat down on the couch and sighed heavily as he dialed a number on my phone, he waited for a while looking convinced that he'd reach whosoever he was trying to reach,
"hey bitch, bring yourself to Alex's now" he said and dropped the call immediately, not waiting to hear what the other person had to say, I sighed and relaxed deeply on the sofa, knowing fully well the only person who could be at the other end of the call was Lucy, she's the only person he could talk to with such command, I also knew if Lucy gets here it's gonna be war, she's sure going to pounce on him, he didn't look disturbed though, he wore a deep smile on his face as he went back to the TV fixing whatever that was, knowing exactly what would go down in minutes to come.

"grrriiiiiiinnnnnnnnggg " sounded the doorbell, the person had pressed and held it down, we both jumped up from our seats, knowing exactly who was at the door, I could feel the anger already as I walked slowly to get it and signalled to Charles that he was dead, making the sign of the cross on myself I pray she doesn't mistake me for Charles and hit me something hard.

I slowly opened the door but she pushed it hard and ran into the house, "where is he?!  " she asked as she searched the living room holding her bag up to hit him on sight, Charles was no were to be found and we both knew the only place he could have gone to hide was my room.
Lucy ran as fast as she could, climbing the stairs faster than I did and I followed closely, we got to my room and Lucy ran in still holding her bag up to hit him, but we were surprised as we didn't find Charles, we searched under the bed and inside the bathroom, little did we know that he was hiding behind the door.

We turned to leave just when we discovered him behind the door, he ran out of the room shutting the door behind him, Lucy attempted going after him but I stood at her front preventing her from making the door, she struggled, yelling that I let her go but I didn't, I giggled on how I could hold her and how light she was, but immediately she stopped struggling I realized how awkward things had gotten, we said no words to each other as we stared right into each other's eyes, having our faces some inch apart.

I could feel her hot breath on my lips and could sense the tension in the air, I couldn't move and obviously she couldn't either,
I became terrified as her eyes left mine and wondered down to my lips and back again, my heart beat was faster than usual and I began to sweat as her face drew closer and closer to mine, the moment was about to become even more awkward just when we heard a hard knock on the door, making us cut loose. No

I turned away from her, feeling slightly embarrassed as I trailed my hands through my hair and letting out a deep sigh, "I hope you both ain't doing bad stuffs in there" Charles yelled sarcastically and walked away, Lucy quietly walked out too and I was left in the room, trying to figure out what had just gone down, I washed my face with some cold water and wiped, I stared into the mirror still lost on what had just happened, I gave out a hard sigh and shrugged off the thought, after all nothing had happened.

I threw some mint in my mouth as I left my room to join my best friends downstairs, they sat and waited anxiously for the TV to pickup and show whatever they had connected, I sat next to Lucy just to act normal and she gave a deep smile.
if only she knew.
