Moet's POV

As soon as I got to the canteen, I looked straight the spot where Alex likes sitting and he was there already, I could see how engulfed he was in his conversation with Charles.
"good day ma" I greeted the woman in charge and she replied with a smile, staring right into my eyes. I placed my order for a coke and slowly left her place, asking myself why she had smiled at me like that.

Charlse immediately saw me on lifting his eyes above Alex's, I signalled him not to make my presence known as I tiptoed behind Alex, and used my hands to cover his eyes, "hey Moet, I already know it's you" he said confidently, we all laughed on how easy he had figured it out and he adjusted for me to sit next to him, " how did you know it was me? " I asked curiously, but he shrugged and smiled, "I taught you well my boy" Charles said and we burst into laughter again.

"Moet tell us, how would you tell the difference if I or Alex where to do that to you? " , I chuckled to buy myself some time to think,
"well, if it were you, I wouldn't know, but if it were Alex, I would definitely know by the scent of mint that would take the air" , Charles giggled on the answer I gave,
"I told you this your mint addiction would land you in trouble" he added, and we all laughed as my drink was placed right in front of me.

I was so into the gist Charles was telling that I didn't venture take my eyes off him for even a second, my lips were left slightly open and an unnecessary smile hung on my face, he'd experienced some real stuffs and was so good at recalling them.

The more he spoke, the more interesting it became, but just when he was about to drop a very important part of the story, his attention diverted, he stared directly above us, with his eyes widely opened, "Lucy!! " he yelled, the girl didn't look familiar, I can't remember either of them saying anything about her, but with the way Charles called her name, and with the look on Alex's face and hers, I could tell she wasn't just a friend.

"hey lucy" Alex called out as his eyes motioned to Charles's and then to mine and back to hers, he stood to meet with her, but she immediately turned and ran out of the canteen with Alex running along and calling her name, everything was becoming weird fast, I felt uneasy as my hands became sweaty and my eyes dangled.
"hey Charles, whats going on? " , I asked. "The return of Lucy, part one" he replied with his hands making all sorts of gesticulations in the air, I could feel the wrinkles forming on my face as I looked at him and sighed, "Moet relax OK, let me find out what's happening" he said sounding very at ease, he never ceases to amaze me with how calmly he takes sensitive issues and always wearing a smile.

He stood up and left too, and I didn't know what to do as I continued to sip out of my drink, hoping to know what was going on....
