It has been two weeks since Sasuke got to take Makaira back home but still have to go to the hospital for her therapy every day. She able to talk but her voice seems to be low and soft also she is not able to speak for a long period without stressing her throat too much. She can move around a little on her own but tends to get tired in some time but that's understandable. She was recovering fast, even the doctors and nins were shocked by it. She is Shishu's little sister, Sasuke was not even surprised that she was recovering at this rate. Sasuke knew he'd have to go back to Academy soon, but he hates the idea of leaving Makaira alone. He has started with her training making sure to keep it light and not to stress her too much. She was currently taking her therapy while Sasuke sat there waiting for her sitting on the chair in the side of the room. Every time the medical-nin would praise her for doing well she would look at Sasuke to which he would smirk at the face of the nin but would feel nice when she would look at him.

They have begun on her training and studies which was going way easier than Sasuke thought since she never went to the academy but she could graduate straight out of the academy if she wanted to but she still needed to work on her strength since she had been in a coma so long. Sasuke was sure that she would be up and about in no time he was surprised by the amount of information she already had but then again she had always been the mature one even when they were younger, he remembers her following his mother around learning her duties there were times when she would handle the whole household when his mother would be sick even at that young age.

Makaira has been adjusting well for someone new to almost everything, she does feel like there is a missing link between them. Sasuke had been nothing but kind and caring to her but she could see that darkness that had started to cloud his heart.

"You like the view?" Sasuke smirked at her when he noticed her staring at him. Makaira didn't realize she was staring at him and turned her head away with her cheeks burning. Looking around pretending nothing happened, causing Sasuke to chuckle. Makaira noticed a group of girls trailing them, failing miserably at hiding themselves. They were glaring at her, she sighed "Looks like you have some friends following us. I don't think they look opposite of friendly they look unfriendly as in they are trying to kill me in their minds in different ways."

Sasuke sighed, "Don't worry, they wouldn't dare."

"oh, I'm not worried at all. I was just telling you." She shrugged it away.

Sasuke looked at her smirking proud that she was not over-thinking about it and was almost having fun with it.

"So what do you wanna eat? You want to try something new or something homemade?"

"Let's go with home food. I don't think i should be out so much before i have been officially introduced to everyone. It might cause trouble for Lord Hokage."

"hn" Makaira received the famous Uchiha reply but she smiled anyway. She knows it's more than just that. Uchihas are always been like this, she had seen it since she was a child but she knew there is more to it than just a small 'hn'.

"Can we train a little in the evening?"

"Where do you wanna train?"

"Uchiha training ground." She wanted to go back there but she was a little scared to, Sasuke wanted her to wait before going there since she was on recovery but now, he had no reason to stop her, he knows she would listen if he said no but at the same time he didn't want to refuse her wishes. She will have to go back sometime better now than later, at least they both will have each other.

Makaira and Sasuke decided to go in the late afternoon, she wanted to get some things from the old house as well. So they decided to go there first and then move to the training grounds. They stood before the house, neither of them moving, just staring.

"They didn't touch any of the belonging here since it now belongs to us as the now, leaders of this clan."

"Clan leaders without a clan to lead" She gave a bittersweet smile.

"We can revive the clan in future," Sasuke said nonchalantly. Makaira turned towards him looking confused causing Sasuke to blush and chough looking away as nothing happened. He was aiming to tease her but he forgot that she was yet to catch up on a lot of things. But this backfired on him this time, Sasuke swore he's not gonna try that again.

They went inside and then paused when they saw the blood that still stained the place where... Makaira looked away as she felt suffocated with emotions that ran through her. She made her way towards the room which had been hers when she was here, she looked in and saw everything just as it was if she ignored the thick layer of dust that coated the room. She knew what she wanted to take. She took the box her brother left her, photographs of her brother and her, her family, the wedding day, with Itachi and young Sasuke. Sasuke saw it but couldn't bring himself to her ask her to join him on his quest. He wanted to keep her away from all that darkness in him. She was innocent in all this, she doesn't have to change her heart just for him and anyway, She was his home now, once he is done with him he must have something to go on for. She was that.

She only took some of her items and things that meant something to her and packed away her bag. She stood by him, ready to go, he took the bag from her hand and they went to the training ground to practice some jutsus before it gets too dark. Once they reached the grounds Sasuke placed the bag on the side and got to the centre of the ground. Makaira stood in front of him and they decided to practice all the basic things she must be able to do to graduate the exams, they could have practised more advanced jutsus but it will take her sometime before she can do it. She is still recovering but even now she was able to perform all the academy level jutsu with ease and perfection.

By the time they were done, the sun was setting and Makaira was exhausted, she lay there on the grass to tired to move. Sasuke stood in front of her and a held out his hand for her to get up but instead, she held out her arms for him to pick her up. Sasuke rolled his eyes before picking her up in piggyback, she wrapped her arms around his neck and closed her eyes feeling tired. Sasuke shook her a little.

"You are not missing dinner, Makaira. You have medicine that you have to take before you sleep."

"Uhhhhh" She groaned just wanting to sleep.

"Hn" Sasuke sighed. "How about i wake you up to eat and then you can take your medicine and sleep? "

"Thank you" She sighed before relaxing and falling asleep. Sasuke picked up her bag as well as walked home. He walked through the less crowded path not wanting to raise too many questions before she ready for the reveal. Well, whatever she wishes.

Once they were home, Sasuke decided to cook something quick, he placed her on the couch for the time being and went to cook. He was worried about letting the news of the Uchiha Princess being alive going out. There will be so many people who would love to get their hands on her. He has to become stronger but more importantly, he has to help her get stronger and recover faster. There is no way anyone is hurting her ever again.
