The Uchiha Princess

~.Chapter - 24.~

Zabuza shifted his attention back to Kakashi who was now using his Sharingan and asked, "Kakashi of the Sharingan Eye. Did I get that right?"

Sasuke looked at Kakashi with confusion clear in his face, not that anyone can blame him, there was no way that he could have known about it.

"It's too bad huh? But you'll have to hand over the old man and  hand over the princess while you're at it." Zabuza said as he turned to look at them. "Uhh" Naruto scratched his head in confusion at the mention of Sharingan, no doubt the wheels of his brain trying to gear up and remember if they were taught anything about it, which they were. But he was not alone, Makaira could tell Sakura was wondering the same thing, her team has not seen the ninja Kakashi Hatake is and they are in for a ride. She couldn't help but smirk at the thought. Before shaking her head and instructed her team, "Manji Formation! Protect the bridge builder and watch over each other, and stay out of this fight!" Makaira was clear with her instructions.

"Huh?" was all Sakura said. At that moment Makaira resisted the urge to slap this girl, she was one of the smartest girls of her class and she is still unable to read the situation! Makaira threw a sharp glare at her which shut her up in an instance. She was sure that Sakura was curious about the Princess situation, of course, she had heard Makaira being addressed as Princess back in the village but she didn't know the importance she had and why he seems to be so interested in Makaira.

"I taught you teamwork. Now it's time to use it" Kakashi instructed them as he opened his left eye. It is indeed the Sharingan, Naruto stared at Kakashi wide-eyed while Sasuke frowned his brows at the sight, he was not expecting their Sensei to have Sharingan. He glanced at Makaira who gave him a tiny smile telling him that it's alright.

"Well. Looks like I get to see the Sharingan in action. This is an honour" Zabuza said as he turns his body to face them.

"Everyone keeps saying Sharingan, Sharingan. Will someone please tell me what Sharingan is?" Naruto question at an inappropriate time because right now they has the demon of the mist to deal with but she didn't have to explain as Sasuke beat her to it.

"Sharingan. A rare power, that resides in the eyes. The user of this Visual Jutsu, or Doujutsu, can instantly see and comprehend any Genjutsu, Taijutsu, and Ninjutsu. And reflect the attack on the attacker. The Sharingan is a special, rare form of Doujutsu. However, there's a lot more to the Sharingan than that. A lot more" Sasuke looks at the ground as Makaira casts a glance at him to make sure he is doing okay.

"You got it right boy, but you only scratched the surface. The Sharingan can analyze an opponent's technique and then copy it to the smallest detail... As for you, Jonin, in the assassination unit of the Hidden Mist. We have a standing order to destroy you on sight. Your profile is in our bingo book. We called you 'The Man Who Copied Over A Thousand Jutsu. Kakashi, the Copy Ninja" Zabuza says and everyone fell silent, Makaira couldn't help but smirk as pride spread through her Kakashi was not only her sensei but also a big brother to her, her team may not realize how famous and dangerous he was but she can't blame them, to be honest, he does behave like an idiot sometimes. "Wow, that's so cool!" Naruto exclaimed.

'The Sharingan is a rare trait that only occurs in a few members of the Uchiha Clan. My Clan. Our Clan! Could he be?' Makaira could almost hear the thoughts running through Sasuke's mind. She made eye-contact with him and shook her head to answer his unasked questions.

"Enough talking. I need to exterminate the old man. First" Zabuza said before turning to Makaira and continued, "Then, I'll come for you, Hime." Makaira wanted to glare at him but instead, she pretended to cower behind Kakashi pretending to be scared.

Sasuke, Sakura, and Naruto hurried to Mister Tazuna's defence, holding kunai knives while Makaira stood near Kakashi but was careful enough to stand near the group as well in case they need her. Makaira had to be careful, she was under the order of Hokage that under no circumstances that she is to reveal her strength and capabilities. She can assist them but it would be very good if she makes herself appear below average if she can.

"So. I'll have to eliminate you first eh Kakashi. So be it." He takes his sword from the tree in an instant. "He's over there!" Naruto warned.

"Standing on the water" Sakura added.

'He's building up a huge amount of Chakra' Makaira kept her eyes on him. "Ninja Art. Hidden Mist Jutsu!" Zabuza disappeared from their sight. "He vanished" Naruto exclaimed, clearly shocked. Kakashi and Makaira walked in front of them, "Sensei" Sakura said worriedly. "He'll come after me first" He reasoned to them. "But, who is he?" She asked. 

"Zabuza Momochi. The ex-leader of the Hidden Mist Assassination Unit. He's a master of the Silent Killing Technique" Makaira said as she carefully looked around.

"Silent?" Naruto asked confused.

"As the name suggests. It happens in an instant without sound or warning of any kind. It's so fast, you pass from this life without realizing what had happened. The Sharingan cannot fully neutralize it, so Don't lower your guard" Makaira continued, the last part was clearly towards Kakashi and Sasuke. She could see her team tense up.

"But if we fail, we only lose our lives" He added

"How can you say that? Sakura yelled at him.

"The mist is getting thicker and thicker" Makaira comment, trying them to get serious, she can't help them unless there is no choice.

"The Land of Waves is surrounded by ocean. The swirling mists are ever-present" Tazuna said dismissively. Sasuke looked at Makaira and said her name as if to remind her of to lay low. Makaira nodded as she took her place at the empty spot behind Tazuna armed and ready but kept her posture and behaviour in check not wanting to reveal anything.

Sasuke gripped his kunai with both hands, he was feeling this for the first time.

"Sensei" Sakura called out but was cut off-

"Eight points," a voice rang through the mist.

"Huh? What's that?" Sakura was scared and no one blames her, if not for her training Makaira would probably be running in the other direction as fast as she can.

"Larynx, spine, lungs, liver, jugular, subclavian artery, kidneys, heart. Now, which will be my kill point?"

They nervously look up to where the voice came from but couldn't find the source. 'He is playing with us, trying to break us in.' Makaira looked at Kakashi who nodded at her as if to say that they'll be able to handle it. And knowing Kakashi, he probably has something up his sleeves for the team as well. Kakashi secretly signed to her saying that she needs to up her act and be less useful. Makaira almost rolled her eyes at that.

'Maybe she will leave this one to the boys, Let's see how well they can work together' She smirked internally.
