"Sup campers!"
It was the day when the air was filled with more energy than the energy when school ended opening summer. The campers were buzzing up, jumping up and down, screaming their lungs out and I also felt it. My eardrums were currently not working well. I could only here E repeatedly.
"I know right. Today is fortnight Friday!" Olive threw confetti everywhere which mostly landed for the people who were in the front row. "It's a free day and you know this Friday is when we are allowed to give out your phones."
"I love you Olive!"
"I know right. Who hates me?" Olive replied, making the crowd go wild. She jumped off the dry stump landing in the arms of one of her friends.
"It'll only be for 24 hours and please, I know we are so so so excited but no drama. Help to boost our camp so that it can have a lot of followers on camp website and social media. Also don't forget to follow me," Nina said, laughing to what she said the last part.
She was co-head counselors of the camp. That was all I could say about her. She was pretty, brown hair roots with blondes at the end, green eyes and liked hanging out with friends. She just kept it low. Never talked to her but they are different opinions about her. It was summer camp with a bunch of teenagers.
Olive and this other guy who I didn't know his name yet brought the phones. Each camper was requested to label her phone with a unique name. Not to brag, but mine was surely the best and cool.
"Parker?"
Yes, it was Parker. I couldn't risk D-man hearing my name. Why was this a secret Thea? Dramatic much?
"Here!"
You know that moment when twins always had the same answers and it sometimes happened every time. Always. I was in that situation.
I looked at Theo. He waved me. I smiled at him before it turned into a frown. He already got his phone in the first place. The next thing, we were having a telepath were we communicate using our minds. I didn't know how scientist could explain it but it just happens.
"Really sis, is that your unique name, I expected better from you."
"What? It's a nice surname."
"I know right, I told the boys too."
"So do you wanna go or should I go?"
"Am gonna go"
"Do you want to check out the girl, brother?"
"Noooo"
"Theo?"
"Hey sis"
"Go!"
Thea shook his head quickly and walked towards Nina. I wish I had a camera to record this to always repeat his rejection when I was bored. I moved close to a bush bench near her.
"Hey," Nina replied, tucking her invisible hair strand behind her eye.
"Hi Nina." So Theo already knew Nina? Cut. "Its my sister's phone but you can still give me your number."
"Here, we'll talk more on IG." She gave him my phone, sending him a wink which for sure did wonders in Theo's heart.
"Thanks."
He left without saying anything. Really Theo? I thought you would do more than that. Nina stayed there still escorting him with her eyes. Theo looked at her with a smirk and then looked at me. I knew that smirk sent Nina that she jogged to her cabin without looking back.
