loba held the pistol out to you, but you were hesitating to grab it from her. you were scared to say the least, terrified actually. if there was one thing you knew about today,

is that you were either going to die, or take down that damned tin can.

loba cocked her head to the side, before forcing the gun into your hand.

"look, it's either life or death here, you choose your own path, now come on. we've got a job to do." she explained, before walking off into another direction, leaving you to chase after.

"b-but wait! what if this doesn't kill him?! what if there are more of him?-"

"we'll just have to destroy every single version of him then, won't we?" she interrupted your rant and it caused you to become speechless and to just follow her. loba soon reached some sort of entrance and you stared at it in confusion.

"w-wha?-" she opened the door before you could say anything and you just followed after her, feeling way too paranoid to function.

"c-can't we do this another time-"

"there is no other time y/n!" loba yelled, stopping in her tracks. you had never seen her this angry. "we have to get him before he kills anyone else! do you want to see your best friends succumb to their deaths?! do you want to see mirage or wattson get killed right in front of your eyes-"

"didn't your parents teach you any manners, loba?" a sudden voice came from above you and the two of you looked up, it was the one and only:

revenant.

"you.." loba had started, the both of you were in shock, eyes wide and mouths agape, before you raised the pistol up, ready to pull the trigger. he suddenly jumped down and twisted your wrist, making you gasp in pain and drop the gun, before he suddenly dashed over to attack loba.

she quickly blocked his attack with her staff, trying to hit him but he blocked it too. the two of them were obviously experienced in fighting, but they were equal strength, meaning it would be hard for one to overthrow the other.

you quickly took this chance to grab the pistol with your other hand, the one he had twisted was in great amounts of pain. placing your index finger on the trigger, you aimed for his head and shot.

but unfortunately,

that wasn't going to go exactly as planned.

revenant had quickly slid out of the way and instead, the bullet pierced through loba's head, blood splattering everywhere and she gave you one last final look of sorrow before she took her last breath, collapsing onto the floor. you let out a loud sob, rushing to her side and kneeling.

"loba! o-oh my god! i-i didn't mean to!" you cried out, shaking her, trying to wake her up, but you knew she wasn't going to.

she was dead and you killed her.

"what a shame. truly a shame." revenant called from behind you and rage started to bubble inside you, causing you to leap towards him, trying to kill him with your bare hands, but you were grabbed by the throat.

he was strangling you.

you started to gasp and claw at his hand, pleading for him to let go, but instead he gripped even tighter, glaring at you.

"w-what t-the f-fuck a-a-are you?!" you screamed, scratching even harder, even though it did nothing, you kept trying. he chuckled lowly, staring at you with those hollow and dull eyes.

"death."

and everything went black.
