"oh my god, mila! look! mirage posted again!" you squealed as you stared at your phone, basically jumping in joy from being the first one to see his post. mila rolled her eyes and snickered, looking at his post with you.
"go on, comment on his post since you're the first one!" she bugged you, making you nod vigorously and instantly click onto the comments. it was empty so far, so you instantly typed your comment.
"ilysm!! can you bamboozle me? 🥺👉👈"
"there! i commented! hopefully he likes it!" you stared at his picture one last time, it was with him and pathfinder, the both of them smiling and posing. it filled your heart with joy but it made you sigh with sorrow, you wanted to be with him, it didn't even matter how, you just wanted to be at least friends with him.
even a simple notice from him would make you happy.
mila suddenly gasping brought you out of your trance, she pointed to your notifications.

you had almost burst into tears and you also nearly freaked out, but you already were. hugging mila, you both smiled brightly.
"MILA! HE LIKED MY COMMENT, REPLIED AND FOLLOWED ME! MILA, YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW-"
"how much this means to you? i know how you feel girl! i'd be freaking out like you as well!" she giggled and you fangirled even more, opening your phone and clicking onto the reply.

your heart stopped for a second, I don't think that's healthy but oh well. you thought you were going crazy. turning to mila, you both started squealing and shaking each other.
"check your messages just incase! you are so lucky! check them! now!" she demanded and you followed her orders, checking your dms, only to find this:

you instantly accepted, seeing the little green dot pop up onto his profile, meaning he was active. your heart had started racing and it was ringing through your ears, before mila ordered for you to reply to him.

"sweetheart i cant believe im speaking to someone as adorable as you, wdym 😳"
you and mila were shaking with excitement, the two of you tired from the amount of happiness you both had but were still fangirling at the same time.

you and mila almost died, you two were already out together, so what was the harm of seeing him right now?

the little green dot then disappeared, making you and mila go crazy. the two of you instantly dashed to planetbucks, sitting on one of the tables outside.
"mila, is this real life?! i can't believe this, i think I'm hyperventilating-"
"calm down, sis! you can do this, you are going on a date with one of apex legend's most famous legend. you can do this!" she gave you a reassuring smile, giving a small gentle squeeze to your hands. taking a deep breath in, you stared at the ground, trying not to cry in public.
"you're y/n, right?" a familiar voice came from behind you, making you instantly whip your head around, seeing the handsome face of he himself: elliot witt. you instantly stood up, eyes brimming with tears. "y'know you're a lot prettier in real life."
"oh my god, y/n, don't cry-"
"too late mila! i'm already crying!" you burst into happy tears, crashing elliot into a hug. he was slightly surprised, but smiled widely, returning the hug and mila giggled.
