ah yes. here we are! you thought, feeling the dropship take that certain turn to tell you all that they've arrived at king's canyon. it wasn't your favourite map, since you were more used to world's edge. you sighed in content. staring at the squad board, you saw that you were paired with crypto and lifeline.
smiling to yourself, you got up and stretched slightly, hearing the announcer bell rang through the ship, yelling:
"get ready, in 3..2..1.."
and the dropship opened, lowering you and your squad down.
"where are we landing, t? you stared at him, but he seemed to ignore your gaze, a scowl on his face.
"i'm not jumpmaster, idiot." he sighed and lifeline scoffed, hitting him. those words sorta hurt, he was never usually this mean.
"watch yuh tone mistah! i'd ought to beat yuh!" she scolded him but quite frankly, he ignored her, causing you and lifeline to huff, especially you. again, crypto never usually acted like this, so it was quite hurtful. "ignore him, y/n, he's just in a bad mood, why don't we land at yuh favourite spot?"
"sure, lifeline." you gave a small smile to her, but crypto rolled his eyes, making something deep down inside you snap and you had finally had enough. all day he had been avoiding you and it had only fuelled your anger more.
"why are you like this today?! you were perfectly fine yesterday so why are you being such a dickhead today, taejoon?!" you yelled at him, catching a few other legends attention, ones who hadn't chosen where to land yet.
"why am i like this?! why are you so annoying?!" your heart sunk after he argued back, so once your eyes started to fill with tears, crypto knew he had done something wrong and lifeline wasn't going to tolerate it.
"oh fuck, no, y/n i'm-"
"fuck you, crypto." was the last thing you said before choosing to land solo, heading towards relay.
"see, look what yuh done! yuh've upset them!" lifeline scolded crypto, giving him a good smack on the back of the head, causing him to hiss in pain. he rubbed the sore part, before groaning.
"look, they'll be fine! we'll find them later on in the match!" lifeline ignored him, before pulling him off the stand (whatever that thing is??), landing at the artillery with him.
