Mattia and the unexpected

Reunited in detention

The rest of the school day goes by fast and before I knew it i was in detention.
I sat at the back in the far corner I took my pencil out and started chewing on it.
This boy walked in late he was very tall had black puffy hair and was wearing jeans and a hoodie, he was hot I'm not gunna lie.
The teacher argued with him and gave him another detention tomorrow. Atleast he'll keep us all entertained. He spots me staring at him and gives me a smirk, he walks towards me and sit in the chair next to me.
"There's something on your face" he whispers
I start wiping my face and he laughs
"What was it?" I ask
"Oh nothing you was just drooling at me" he responds and lowers his body down.
"Don't flatter yourself I was just observing you trying to get out of trouble" I say and sit up
"Observing is still staring " he says while keeping eye contact with the board.
I try to reply but the teacher shushes me.

Detention was very boring and not worth this outfit. Throughout the detention I could feel the boy who sat next to me staring at me, he is such a hypocrite honestly.
*bell rings*
Everyone grabs their things from detentions and leaves. As I'm walking outside I hear loud footsteps run after me. A cold hands taps my shoulder I turn around and see the boy from detention.
Boy:"have we met before you seem familiar?"
Me:"no I don't think so sorry "
I turn around and start walking , I see alejandro waving at me so I head towards his car.
Boy:"omg vanessa no way "
Me:"how do you know my name?"
Boy:"I barely recognised you wow, Cali did a good job at turning you hot"
I roll my eyes at him and continue walking.
He grabs my hand and stands infront of me.
"You really don't remember me?, we was English partners in middle school, the dance and then you suddenly moved"
It finally hit me its mattia the one who embarrassed me infront of everyone. Fuck he looks different.
"So you do remember me" he said , he could tell by my facial expression.
Me:"mattia right?"
He nods his head
Me:"Well you look very different"
Mattia:"yeah so do you , i only recognised you because of your attitude"
I give his arm a little shove then greet alejandro.
Ale:"how do you two know eachother"
Me:"well he rejected and embarrassed my ass back in middle school so from there I guess" I opened alejandros door and sat in his car.
Mattia and ale shake heads at eachother in shock and confusion but then they finally both get in.
Mattia"wont mine giving me a ride too huh"
Ale: "shutup rat close the door"
I let out a sigh in annoyance and turn my body to the window.
Alejandro was asking me about my day and trying to not make it awkward but I just wanted to be out his car already.

Ale:"okay bro here's you"
Mattia leaves the car and bends down infront of my window.
Our eyes meet and wow his eyes were so dark yet so bright, I don't know it was a weird feeling.
Mattia:"I'm sorry for what happened between us in 7th grade I really am"
I give him a smile and turn my head. I didn't wanna give him the satisfaction. I explained to alejandro what happened while driving back home.

He parks his car and walks me to my door.
Ale:"damn am sorry he did that to ya"
Me:"it was a while ago so it don't bother me as much anymore I guess"
Ale:"so you forgive him"
Me:"yeah of course but that don't mean we're friends"
Ale laughs and continues to ask about my day. I tell him about lily Robert and roshaun. Robert and roshaun are actually one of alejandros close friends just like mattia and these other boys named kairi and alvaro. We get to know eachother more. He's very funny and sarcastic quite like me.
We hug and head back inside our homes.

I go up in my room and chill in my room for the rest of the day.
10pm
I'm laying in bed all showered and suddenly I hear rocks or sticks being thrown at my window.
It was alejandro he was throwing sticks at my window.
Me:"Ale wtf"
Ale:"do you need a ride to school tomorrow again"
Me:"you know I do, and why didn't you just text me this"
Ale:"idk its more fun this way"
I pick up one stick that landed in my room and throw it back at him . We both laugh and say our good nights.
