Mattia and the unexpected

Hey stranger😒

I was woken up by Mattia but I wasn't mad about it because he brought me breakfast in bed.

Me:"did you make this or can I eat it"

Mattia:"I'm not that bad at cooking"

Me:"yeah okay"
Mattia:"babe just eat , we have a long day ahead of us"

"Why" I asked as I sat up and began eating my breakfast.

Mattia:"check your phone"

I grabbed my phone from the bed and looked through my notifications.

Dad💕
Your mother is coming
Over for dinner
And she wants to meet Mattia.

No way!
I don't want to see her

She's your mother.

She doesn't act like one
Why does she all of a
sudden have an interest in us??

Please just come
And pretend you like
her for atleast 2 hours

I'll see😒

Good because me alone with her
And your brothers
Will be atrocious.

Me:"thanks for the breakfast matti"
Mattia smiles then took the plate from me, I got up and showered.

I put jeans on and wore mattias oversized shirt with his trainers.

Mattia:"wanna wear my underwear too while your at it?"

We both laughed then walked upstairs.

Me:"why is your family never home?"
Mattia:"work, school I don't know to be honest"

Mattia and I drove around New Jersey for the rest of the day just enjoying our eachothers company.

I was quite nervous to see my mom again but I was more scared that I would explode with mattias presence. She might say something infront of him or she'll just make the night horrible as she always used to.

She didn't want anything to do with us couple months ago so I really wonder what changed.

The day went on and it was finally time to make our way back home.

"You nervous" Mattia said as he placed his hand on my thighs gently

Me:"no ,you?"

Mattia:"well kinda, ive never really sat down and had dinner with your parents"

Me:"that's because my mother isn't an actual mother to me"

Mattia:"I've never even had dinner with your dad and brothers so it'll be a lil weird"

Me:"you'll be fine"

I gave him a small smile then stared out the window.

Mattia:"you okay"

Me:"yeah, I just really don't want to see my mom. She always triggers my anger in some type of way"

Mattia:"she might surprise you today"
