"Holy Shit!" Jhera's voice rang loudly through the quiet library. The thud from the soft chairs across the room was Henri falling from his seat, he had fallen asleep several hours ago. Eli gasped as he awoke from his bent over position at the table, drool on his cheek as he lifted his droopy eyes to look about the room.

"What?!" Ashleigh screamed loudly from the couch upstairs, the only comfortable seat in the entire room, aside from the over sized chair.

"I think I found it!" Jhera rotated the scroll to show Eli. "Umm..." She wiped the right side of her jaw and pointed at him, watching him quickly mimic her movement. "Here." She pointed to the ancient text. "Filii lunae crescere incipientis." Her smile was wide as she looked to Henri, he took a stance beside Eli.

"What does that mean?" Henri looked from the text to Jhera.

"It's direct translation is Son of the Crescent." Eli looked to Jhera, a smile bright on his face.

"Could easily be used for children though, like descendants and such." Eli and Jhera began to pour over the text slowly, until the scroll reached an abrupt end.

"Well, that was anti-climatic." Jhera looked to Eli.

"Pages are missing." He carefully went back over the papers, "If I can match the author to one I know, I might be able to find a completed text." He rolled the scroll up and hustled across the library to a computer that sat hidden behind a desk.

"What did it say exactly?" Henri moved to lean against the table, Jhera in the chair to his right.

"Well..." Jhera leaned back in her chair, so that she could see Henri clearly. Ashleigh took a seat across from her at the table. "According to the scroll, in the early 1400's there was a race that blessed by a Moon Goddess."

"The were-wolves?" Ashleigh asked.

"Yes, but then the Goddess herself fell in love with a wolf." Jhera looked from Ashleigh to Henri, "She bore the were-wolf a son, an Alpha that reigned over his pack with peace and mercy." Jhera's arms wrapped around her chest, grasping her biceps firmly. "The lineage of the Goddess was traced back to about two hundred years ago. The last known descendant of the Goddess was..."

"Heventra Levlier." Eli chimed in as he walked across the open space, a piece of paper in his hand. "I found the completed scroll at a university over in Koshen." He turned to Henri, "I emailed my contact and asked them to fax me a copy of the scroll, they should be able to send me over their scanned version."

"This is great news."

"Not really," Jhera began, "I think it made more questions. Like who is she and what happened to her. What about her lineage?"

"I'm sure we'll uncover all of that and more."

"Yup, cause we have the Internet." Jhera stood to move to the computer across the way.

"Tomorrow." Henri grabbed her arm gently, "Let's get some rest and look at all this with fresh eyes?"

Jhera sighed and looked to the other two, they both looked to be on the last of their energy and about ready to give in. Jhera was the only one that hadn't fallen asleep and even now she felt the weight of her eyelids.

"I suppose." She spoke begrudgingly, but deep down was thankful he said something.

"We'll put the scrolls away and head to bed." Ashleigh said as she started to carefully pile up the scrolls.

"Thank you." Jhera smiled to Eli and Ashleigh, allowing Henri to escort her through the downstairs doorway. It would take them out to the hallway before the family room, which meant they still had to climb the stairs. Jhera knew she would be exhausted by the time she reached her bed.
