The was rising slowly over the horizon, the view from the loft of the cabin took Jhera's breath away. She smiled to herself as she recalled their escapades from the night. It was just before dawn, the party had died down and everyone was asleep, when they snuck quietly from their apartment to their get away car. Henri had convinced her no one would mind, and she was happy to not hear everyone's comments about them missing their own party.

Jhera stretched out in the large bed that took up the majority of the loft. There was room to move to change and a ladder to climb down. Henri explained this was their hunting cabin, but it was secluded and private, perfect for them to be alone. The pair couldn't stop touching each other, their hands were entwined or they were wrapping each other in their arms. So, it surprised Jhera to wake up without him there. She rolled to the loft edge, a banister and posts were erected to prevent residence from rolling off the loft. Her eyes scanned the downstairs. A large couch and chair were just inside the door, making a small living space. There was wood stove in the corner opposite the couch, and a small kitchen sharing the space. The fridge was on a generator and solar power, as Henri had explained as he turned it on when they arrived. It was small, but perfect for the two of them. Under the loft was part of the kitchen and a large bath. He said there was a closet there as well, with fresh linens.

She continued to look about from her perch, Henri was no where to be found. Where are you? Her thoughts reached out, as she hoped he could hear her.

Almost back now. I went to hunt.

Jhera could feel him smile, a smirk appearing on her own lips. It was only moments later when the door burst open. Henri was in a pair of basketball shorts and nothing else. Jhera felt her heart skip a beat and her body responded to the chiseled body before her. She rolled her eyes, trying to calm herself.

"I'm just going to get this on the stove." Henri smiled, holding up a skinned rabbit.

Jhera watched as Henri moved about the downstairs, moving slowly to climb down the ladder. She stepped into the restroom, noticing it was very spacious for the estate. A large whirlpool tub sat in the corner with a stand up shower opposite it. The toilet was near the shower setup, with a stand alone sink in front of a small milk colored window. She finished her business and began to wash up. She turned the warm water on and placed her hands in the running water. It was cold to the touch, but felt refreshing to her skin. She hadn't realized how flushed she had felt. She splashed some of the water on her face, the feel of freezing cold water hit her face and she gasped at the chill. Drying her face she reached over and turned the water off. It was then she noticed, only the hot water had been turned on.

"Henri," She spoke before opening the door, "I don't know if the hot water is working."

Henri was in front of the wood stove, just getting the fire inside it started and place a large pot of vegetables and the rabbit on it. He turned toward her and her scent hit him in full force. His knees almost buckled and everything in him knew what was happening. Fighting every urge he had, he finished his task at hand, listening to Jhera talk about the water.

"It was freezing cold, does it normally take a while to warm up?"

"It can," Henri's voice was low and deep. He turned from his task and looked to Jhera. "Jay, we need to talk." He walked over and placed a hand on her shoulder. "God, you're on fire."

"Is it me?" She felt her face and didn't notice a difference.

"Jay, am I usually cold to you?"

"No, you're a raging inferno." She smiled to him.

His hand came around her wrist gently, placing her palm on his chest. The heat from her hand sending waves of desire through his body, oh how he needed her.
