Meanwhile Hermione was running after Ron in desperate need to tell him the truth
"It's not what you think!"
She yelled. The boy finally stopped and turned
"What Hermione?! We haven't even broken up for one month and you kiss Malfoy?"
"I swear nothing happened, p-please"
The girl started crying, Ron approached her dangerously.
She din't know what to say or do. She couldn't deny her feelings or act as if what he had seen hadn't been real
"Look at me, look at me Hermione and tell me that you don't love him"
No answer
"Tell me that you haven't ever thought about starting a love story with Malfoy"
No answer
"And tell me.."
Ron was sweating and crying, his face expressed disappointment
"Tell me that if I didn't enter the room you two wouldn't have kissed"
No answer again.
Hermione pursued her lips, while tears continued racing down her face. She had loved Ron for such a long time, and now that he loved her back, she just couldn't act as if her feelings for the blonde slytherin meant nothing
"Then we have nothing else to talk about"
Ron left Hermione, who was standing in the middle of the hallway. She crouched in a corner and started crying, thinking about what to do next. How would Harry react to this? Had she just destroyed the golden trio? What was wrong with her?

but the only rational thought she came out with was that she couldn't stay there like this forever. Then all of a sudden an impulsive decision popped out at the back of her mind and immediately she decided to act on it. She must've thrown away their bond for something. It had been real, it was real.. she had to see Draco.
She arrived in front of the Malfoy's common room while Blaise was exiting it
"Blaise!"
She approached the confused Slytherin
"Um, do I know you?"
She shyly interlocked her fingers and started nervously playing with her hands
"I'm Hermione. Hermione Granger"
His eyebrows rose
"Oh, the girl Draco continuously talks about?"
Hermione blushed
"I, I gue- listen do you, do you know where he is?"
She shook her head

"Maybe in the astronomy tower?"
She took off without saying a word
"Your welcome!"
He yelled after her and then whispered under his breath
"These damn Gryffindors"
