They entered the library.
Hermione started to nervously walk around thinking about how to start the conversation she wanted to have with her blonde enemy-to-lover while he leaned on a bookshelf. Although she failed trying to look as if she wanted to explore the library, where she spent there 90% of her free time, she succeeded in not making the boy notice her agitation

"So, did you want us to talk about something?"

She demanded unsure

"Well, yeah... actually about us"

The gryffindor froze and turned around to face Draco. A serious expression was written all over his face.
He was about to talk when she cut him off

"Wait I have to ask you something before"

A deep inhale. She could do this, after all she had survived a war, how difficult could talking to someone about how she felt be?
If that someone was the son of Lucius, very

"Malfoy what am I to you, what are we, what do you, uhm, I mean how do you feel when you are with me?"

She asked sincerely, wanting desperately to listen to an answer but when she didn't hear any, she continued with her monologue

"I mean do you like like-me like-me or am I just one of the other whor-I MEAN GIRLS you've been with, like Pansy but just know I don't want to be, because you know I just, I mean if I am it's better if we just stop whatever this is and.."

Draco widened his eyes, he didn't expect her to say everything so quickly. He couldn't believe his own ears and decided to stop her right there, before she could go any further in discussing their... well the attraction they had in common

"Wow Granger, calm down"

Said the boy bringing his hand to his hair and starting to nervously furrow them. Noticing the gesture, Hermione flushed and covered her head with her hands, embarrassed.

"I'm sorry I.."

The slytherin took a step towards her. Determination could be seen in his eyes, which sweetly looked at her. He gently caressed her cheek

"First don't compare yourself to Pansy"

Hermione smiled, founding finally the courage to meet his deep grey irises

"Please. You are way better than that, that.."

"That bitch"

She said rolling her eyes,
Malfoy chuckled

"Precisely, I stayed with her not romantically, how can I say it, physically... you know what I mean and I confess I am very attracted to you despite everything else"

He admitted not breaking for one second their eye-contact without stuttering.
The girl bit her lip and looked down

"I gotta confess something too"

Draco's hand fell from her cheek. She turned around, not wanting to face him.
He was ready for whatever she was going to say, good or bad, he had mentally been preparing for this for weeks now

"My amortentia, I mean yesterday Draco when we kissed, you, I-"

It didn't seem like something bad. The blonde grinned and his eyes suddenly darkened. Hermione gasped noticing the change

"I know"

Said the slytherin smiling and coming near Hermione from behind, putting an arm around her waist and slightly pushing her against him

"It's alright Granger, lots of girls are attracted to me, you're not the first one.."

Her mouth flew open and her breath became irregular. Draco tilted his head forward, touching her neck with his nose and breathed out smirking

"Reminds you of anything?"

~ oh gosh ~

She simply couldn't resist to that so intoxicating smell. She wanted so bad to try to stop Draco from... well actually from breathing, but she just couldn't move. Their bodies entwined together at her eyes just seemed too perfect
