Worrying

"Megan what do you mean you think you have this virus?" I say scared of my friends safety.

"I mean I woke up in the middle of the night hot and sweaty, then I turned really cold and started sneezing a lot! And then I started itching and have this red rash over my arms!" She said wavering her voice a bit.

I blink not being able to register what I just heard. I didn't want to believe what was happening to her.

"Joy, are you there?" She said quietly.

"Yea, yes I'm still here i- I just dont know what to say right now." I say on a verge of tears.

"Look I hope I am just being over dramatic. Maybe I was just having a cold or something, imma get a good nights rest and if I don't feel better I won't go to school and I'll be at the doctors, ok Joy so no need to get worried."

"Ok, just be safe alright" I sigh shaking my head.

"Ok, goodnight Joy"

"Goodnight Megan."

I put my phone down and the next thing you know I feel tears forming until they are falling from my ears freely. What if Megan actually leaves me? I never thought about since I've always thought she'll be by my side forever. She was one of the only girls who stood up for me. We've been friends for so long I dont want her to leave me. I don't know what I would do.

I couldn't go back to sleep even if I wanted to so I pick up my phone again and call Logan hoping he would pick up. I hear him pick up the phone with a tired voice
"Why are you calling me, it's about to be 4 in the morning love. "

"I um- I need to be with you right now." I say choking on my own words.

I hear rustling on the other side of the phone like hes getting up.
"Wait what happened, are you ok?!" He says in a worried voice.

"Yeah I'll be fine after I see you. can I please come over." I beg desperately.

"Yeah of course you can come over just be quiet because my brother and sister are sleeping"
I start smiling feeling a little better.

"Yeah I'll be quiet I got you. Bye logan I love you."

"I love you too."

I get up and get dressed like I am going to school and then brush my teeth as quietly as I can. After I'm all done I grab my phone, a charger and some headphones, with my backpack and leave. I slowly walk downstairs without trying to wake anyone and I climb out of a window downstairs that doesn't make any noise when I open it. I get out and start walking to Logan's house. He doesn't live very far from me so I'm able to see him plenty.

Soon I see his house and call him telling him that I'm outside.

"Hey you outside yet?" He says

"Yeah where do I go in?" He then tells my to go to the side of the house where his bedroom is. I walk my way over there and see that he has the window open for me. I climb into the room and shut the window behind me.

When I turn around I see logan standing right behind me with his bare chest smiling right at me. I stumble back a little bit taken by surprised. He clearly sees what effect he has on me and starts chuckling lowly while putting his hands around my waist pulling me closer. He puts his head in the side of my neck and inhales deeply. As long as I knew logan he always does this. It's like a comfort thing for him to know that I'm near him.

"Hey" I said nervously

"Hey" he said in a deep tired voice. In all honesty I could listen to him talk like that all day long.
