Something Strange

Lindsey takes us into the room where all the students are getting their shots. As we are passing by them I see a weird blue-ish blackish shimmery liquid inside the needles. The color is a little weird to me, especially for a cure, but I'm not going to question too much on it.

We made our way through the room to another door inside the room that was in the back. Lindsey opens it up with a keypad that was on the side of the door typing in a bunch of numbers. When did our school get this?

She let's us inside and I see how very few students are in here, unlike the other room. I start to feel that uneasy feeling again and try to push it down. I was just nervous and had to breath, but the way I was feeling right now made breathing feel impossible.

I take a step into the small room that was littered with tiny scratches on the plain gray walls that had dust cloud the room. I tried to calm myself down by breathing deeply but the dust that filled the room took me by surprise and I instantly starting to cough.

"Joy are you alright?" Logan asks holding on to my arm so that I don't trip and fall over me coughing. I put my hand on my chest with my free hand and nod my head.

"I'm fine just a little dusty in here." I say pulling myself up I look up around the room again and see that everyone I staring at me weirdly. I then realize that they probably think I have this damn virus the way I was just coughing.

I start to feel my cheeks heat up and I clear my throat."Sorry guys I don't have the virus the rooms a little dusty, kinda making me cough. Don't yall think?"

I said stopping myself because now they were looking even more weirdly at me. Clearing my throat awkwardly, I look to the side of me and see Logan trying to keep in a smile that was threatening to come out anytime. I hit the side of his arm to stop him and he turns to look at me before giving me a big grin shrugging his shoulders. I roll my eyes at him and turn back towards Lindsey.

"Um, ok anyways, you guys are going to go over there with Olivia to take the vaccine." Lindsey said pointing to the left side of the room in the back corner where a small, young blond woman was standing. I couldn't get a good glimpse of what she looked like from over where I was standing, but she seemed very fidgety and timid.

"Yeah, okay I'm just gonna go over there now." I say sheepishly smiling. I clear my throat again before I grab Logan's hand going to the left side of the room where Olivia was at. As we are walking up to her I notice she seems to be more visibly fidgety as she goes backs and forth from biting her nails to her playing with her hair.

"Hi, take a seat here."  Her voice also seemed almost nervous like she is planning on talking to a crowd of people. I choose to ignore it as she is pointing to the small chair next to a bunch of surgical items. I gulped looking at the tray next to the chair. I really hate going to the doctors and having them poke and prob me with their tools. I start to think back to when I was younger and my mother would force me to sit down just so the doctors could take my tempature. No need to say that I really can't stand the doctors, especially needles.

I go to take a seat just to get the shot over with first, but Logan comes from the side of me and sits in the chair first. I look at him and he looks back up at me smuggishly.

"I was going to sit there Logan."

"I know but you seemed nervous so I'm going to go before you." He said leaning back in the chair comfortably.

"Whatever." I mumble lowly secretively grateful he took the seat before I did. I turn towards Olivia seeing her grab the same blue-ish blackish shimmery liquid that I seen in the previous rooms. She grabs the needle and flicks it a bit ready to insert it into Logan.
