Rachel's POV

Rehearsal last night didn't run long, but I forgot how late I was going to have to stay up to finish my school work. And then I woke up late. I've been dragging my feet from class to class, but now I finally get to eat.

Food is good for the... happiness?

"Hey!" Annabeth says, walking over with Piper and Calypso. Will and Katie are in line getting their food. Calypso and I both bring our food and Piper and Annabeth have a class right next to the cafeteria, so they already got their lunch. "Do y'all want to eat in the auditorium?"

"Of course," I say. "The cafeteria is to loud and I need to take a nap."

The girls laugh. "Yeah, and I really need to work on my lines," Piper says.

"Then let's go," Annabeth says.

"Wait, what about Will and Katie?" I ask.

"I'll text 'em," Calypso says, pulling out her phone.

"Great, now let's get out of here before we have to talk to people," Annabeth says, turning toward the exit.

"Hey, guys!" Hazel says, she rushes over to us, pulling Frank along. "Where are you going?"

"The auditorium. We eat in there most days," Calypso explains.

"Yeah, the cafeteria has to many people," Annabeth says.

"Can we come, too?" Hazel asks.

"I mean, you don't have to," I say.

"But I want to," Hazel says. Then she turns and looks at Frank. "Can we go, please?"

"Sure, let's go," Frank says and the pair start walking. We all quickly follow. We walk there in silence.

"Hey, y'all," Katie says, walk into the auditorium where we are all sitting. We were sitting on the stage, rather than the actual seats. I'm not really sure why, when I started being their friend they already sat there at lunch.

Will's next to her. "Hey, look who we found on our way here," he says.

"Hi," Connor says, their whole group with them.

"Oh, hi," Annabeth says. "How did you know where we were eating?"

"Oh, that's sort of my fault. I texted them, I hope it's not a problem," Hazel says.

"No problem," she says, but she looks down a her sandwich.

"What's up?" Travis asks, coming to sit by Annabeth. Connor is next to him and me. I'm laying down, trying, and failing to take a nap.

"I'm just reading my lines," she says.

"What up you?" Connor asks, directed toward me.

"Sleeping," I answer, as I close my eyes.

"Oh, really?" he asks, a mischievous tone in his voice.

"Connor, I swear if you do anything to me, I will murder you," I say, calmly, my eyes still close.

"I doubt that," he says, teasingly. "You couldn't kill me."

"No, but Annabeth can," I say.

"And she would," Annabeth says.

"Okay, fine," Connor says, a hint of laughter in his voice.

"I haven't even look at my script since last night," Leo says. "Even then, my character didn't do anything. Not having anything to do is great." Annabeth laughs.

"You really need to see Legally Blonde," Annabeth says. "I'd say watch the musical. It's online, legally! Sort of."

"You might even say, it's online Legally Blonde," Leo says. Annabeth puts her head in her hands.

"That was awful," she says.

"Yeah, Annabeth's right," Hazel says.

"Rude."

"No, I mean, most of y'all haven't seen Legally Blonde," she says. "We should all watch it together!"

"Also, you pun was awful," Nico says. Leo throughs a chip at him, because they are sitting across from each other, so he can't slap him.

"But we should totally watch it together," Hazel says again.

"I mean, I'm down," Piper says.

"Yeah, I'm always down the watch Legally Blonde," Annabeth says.

"Me, too," Katie says.

"Alright, let's do it," Percy says.

"Can't wait," Nico grumbles.

"Shut the fuck up, Nico," a girls voice says. I think it's Thalia, but I've only met her once, since she isn't in the show.

"Have you seen Legally Blonde?" Annabeth asks Thalia. I decide to sit up rather than take a nap, it's not really working out well, either.

"I've seen the movie." She shrugs. "I didn't even know there was a musical 'til recently."

"Well, the musical's better," Annabeth says, in total confidence.

"Of course you would think that," Percy says, teasingly. She pushes his arm.

"Well, I'm right. Everything's better in musical form," Annabeth explains.

"Is that right?" Percy teases, with a huge smile on his face.

"Why, of course." She smiles back. The rest of lunch goes along great, but all good things come to an end. We start to walk out together and quickly went separate ways to class. Connor and I are in the same Latin class. I've always thought languages were really fun, but I don't know why Connor's in that class. It doesn't really seem like his thing.

"Hey, so are you coming tonight?" he asks. I scrunch my eyebrows, confused.

"Of course," I answer. "Are you?"

"I was thinking about it," he responds. "Right now, I'm just worrying about Mrs. Shatt's class. That bitch is worse than Mrs. Dodd's. She's like the Umbridge of Goode."

I snap my neck toward him. "You've seen Harry Potter?"

He laughs. "Yeah, yeah, and read it."

"You've read Harry Potter?" I say in disbelief.

"I'm not dumb," he says.

"I know, I just- I never would have guessed it. You don't seem like the "Harry Potter" type," I say.

"I don't know if I should be offended or not," Connor replies, laughing. We both enter our Latin class laughing.

I don't even realize we do it, but I make my way to the back and sit next to Connor. Maybe it was because we were laughing, but he just felt like a friend. Laughing with him felt like she was with Jason, almost. He was kind of weird, kind of a troublemaker (at least around his friends), but he was a damn good friend.

Was Connor her friend?
