Annabeth's POV

I see Percy's tattoo and immediately think back to a draw I did a year or so back. It's not like he could be my soulmate though.

One thing my tattoos make explicitly clear is that my soulmate is loyal. I had loyal written in Greek on it. I doubt Percy even can read English, much less Greek. My soulmate has a better chance of being Will. And Will is gay.

Besides, Percy is going to end up with someone like Drew, not me. I'm just me. I feel bad for whoever ends up with me. I am truly a nobody.

The rest of the night we play some more fun games, but I can't seem get my mind off of Percy's tattoo.

Today is the day! Today are the auditions for the musical. I'm practicing every chance I get.

I still haven't told my friends what song I'm singing. They have been asking me for days. I'll never tell. I am so excited because I really want to play Elle Woods. If I tell them my audition song, they'll make a big deal about me singing a song my mom did. Especially since she did so good with it, they know I will compare myself to her.

"Hey, Annie! Hi Will! You guys excited for the auditions today?" Piper asks, as Will and I arrive at school.

"Hell, yeah, I am!" I say.

"Yeah, totally," Will says. He seems nervous.

"You sure? You don't seem like yourself," Piper tells him. He shrugs.

"Yeah, yeah, there's just- it's stupid. Never mind," he says.

"No, what's wrong, Will?" Calypso asks.

"Well, there is this boy.." Will begins, we all squeal.

"Who is he?!" we all ask, excited.

"It's Nico..." We all squeal again.

"That's great, Will, Nico is awesome," Katie assures him.

"He'll definitely fall in love with you," Piper adds.

"And if he doesn't, then fuck him," Rachel adds.

"Well, the thing is, I don't think he's gay..." Will trails off.

"Honey, any boy who looks at you is automatically turned gay," I inform him. "And Rachel, he's already trying to. Don't make their be any pressure added." Will blushes (,but doesn't deny it).

"Well, anyway, what song did you decide on doing? I needs to be good if you're going to be Emmett," I say.

"I'm, actually, not auditioning for Emmett..." Will says. We all stare at him shocked. "I want to play the European/gay guy."

"What?! I don't want to kiss a stranger, if I get the part of Elle Woods," I say, still shocked.

"You will get Elle Woods," Will says, confidently.

"And you won't being kissing a stranger," Piper adds, "I hear Percy is auditioning for Emmett."

"I'd rather kiss a stranger."

"You never told me there was a gay character!"  I her someone yell. I turn to see Grover and Nico talking. Nico seems to be upset by the fact he wasn't informed about a gay character in the play.
