Months had passed and Thomas still cried himself to sleep every once in a while as the memories he shared with Lucille played over and over in his mind on a loop.It was his favourite bitter-sweet movie.
He had made amends with Moseley's men (thanks to some sort of twist of fate or a miracle) and moved back to the mansion just outside of Small Heath with Charlie and Ruby.
Tommy was still involved in politics and traveled to London when he had to for work.
These days, he was more in tune with himself and his emotions. He made the decision to go to a therapist to try and clear the fog from his head or at least try and learn how to cope with it.
Most of his days were spent with Charlie and Ruby since he had an awakening and a reality check from Grace where he realised that his kids were the most important thing in the world.
He seemed to be on the right track which everyone around him was happy about.
Lucille, on the other hand, was struggling the more she stayed in Small Heath. So, she made the decision to emigrate to Australia.Harry, Polly and Ada all kept in contact with her through phone calls and letters; they didn't want to lose contact with someone who had touched their lives in such a beautiful way.
She got a job in a bar in Australia so she was thankful that she could still hold on to something from her past in a sense.
Everyday was a struggle with the darkness within her and with the loss of hers and Thomas' child but she was managing and everyday was becoming less and less unbearable and easier to live with.
She was happy; genuinely happy and that's all that anyone wanted for her... Even Tommy.
