Harry was nice enough to give Lucille a day off and that day off just so happened to be the same day that Peter had asked her on a date.
She hadn't given him a yes or no answer yet he still asked around town for her address to pick her up.
Thomas had been told the news of Peter and his questions and so he kept an eye on the blonde man the whole day and planned to do so the rest of the night if needs be.
So, at the time that he had told her he would pick her up at, her door was knocked on and upon answering it, Peter stood on the opposite side with a bunch of flowers in his hand and a bright smile on his face.
"Good evening, Miss Peaky. You ready to go?"
"How did you know where I lived?" She questioned, hands on her hips and a small smile threatening to appear on her lips.
"I had to ask around. Must say, you've kept me on my toes all day and I haven't even seen or spoken to you until now." She smiled. "Shall we?"
Lucille nodded, disappearing to get her coat before the pair left for their date.
They ended up in a cute little restaurant just outside of Small Heath. From the window you could see Thomas' mansion just slightly in the distance and Lucille's mind wandered back to the Blinder.
"You okay?" Peter's voice pulled her back to reality and from her Thomas Shelby induced trance.
"Yeah. Yeah." She smiled, averting her eyes back to the menu.
The waiter came to their table and both ordered their meals and drinks before he disappeared to the kitchen of the restaurant.
"So, how've you been?" Peter tried to make small talk, wanting nothing better than to get to know Lucille on a deeper level.
"I didn't think your were the 'small talk' kind of guy." She smirked teasingly.
"I didn't think you were the 'interested in Blinders' kind of girl." He fired back, glancing at her over the rim of his glass of whiskey.
Lucille's eyebrows raised at him, ignoring his comment and deciding to glance out the window beside them at the Shelby house.
Peter noticed what she was looking at for the house in the distance was known to everyone in and outside of Birmingham.
He had a feeling that she was more involved with Thomas Shelby than she was letting on yet he didn't mention it to her.
"You're fucking kidding me." Lucille muttered under her breath.
As she stared out the window, she noticed an all too familiar figure walking down the street through the darkness, long black coat flailing in the wind after him.
She turned away from the window, putting all her attention on Peter and acted as if she was interested in him and not trying to hide from the one Shelby she didn't want to see today.
