Thomas had went back home to London two days ago and Lucille was already feeling lost again although it was she who had asked for some space to think.
Lucille hadn't seen Michael or Gina since the accident so, when she clocked eyes with Michael Gray as he stood at the other side of the private room shutters, her heart sunk to the pit of her stomach.
She remembered how Finn had told her that Michael wanted to speak to her but that time had never came and so she forgotten all about it.
"Can I speak to you for a minute please?" Michael had asked and she hesitated before she nodded her head and walked around the bar to join him in the private room.
Thankfully Gina was nowhere in sight; just Finn. If Gina were to have been in there then Lucille would have either panicked or immediately flew across the room to fight her after what she had done and the pain that she had caused.
"Can I help you?" Lucille asked politely as she took a seat whilst Finn and Michael stood leaning against the wall in front of her.
She was scared on the inside though her face was emotionless. What was bound to be brought up still gave her nightmares and she really didn't feel like reliving that memory only to relive it again when she tried to force herself to sleep later that night.
"I wanted to apologise for what happened with Gina and Lizzie. I didn't think I would have to since we all thought you were dead after that night."
'Is he being serious? How inconsiderate can this guy be?' was all she thought to herself.
His choice of wording really surprised Lucille considering any time that she and Michael had engaged in conversation he had been so wet and kind. That was until now.
Eyebrows narrowed down in anger and her jaw and fists immediately tensed up as she watched him through her eyelashes.
One more word and she was bound to lose it.
"Excuse me?"
"We're all glad you're here of course. But, we just didn't think you were going to live after that night that's all."
The way Michael came across was that he was blaming her for the shooting; as if it were her fault that both his wife and Thomas' had planned to kill her.
Finn nudged his cousin and sent him a look which literally screamed 'shut the fuck up, Michael' but it was too late.
Before any of them knew it, Lucille's anger had gotten the best of her and she was launching herself from her seat and towards Michael with a deathly glare on her face and her fist held up by her head ready to connect with his jaw.
This was when she blacked out; when her brain got so overwhelmingly angry that she was no longer aware of her actions and what she was doing.
Finn was quick with his thinking and with his feet and lunged just in time to catch her before her fist connected with his cousins face and pulled her away.
