Chapter 19

     (Y/N) POV

     I breathed out shakily as I wrung my hands.

     "Are you nervous?" I looked up at Kyosuke, who had tied his hair into a ponytail.

     "Very."

     It was the morning of the End of Summer and I was a nervous wreck. I was nervous about seeing Junichiro. He just caused a lot of bad memories to resurface.

     "Hey, guys!" I turned to see Ari climbing in through the window.

     I gave him a small smile. "Hi."

     After we got all of our stuff together, we made our way downstairs so that we could head to the airport. Since it was the last part of the tournament and it was far away, we were going by plane.

     "Are you three about to leave?" I heard my mom call from the kitchen.

     I nodded at her as the 2 boys walked behind me. Her eyes immediately trailed to Kyosuke, since she hadn't seen him before. She knew that he was staying the week but due to her work schedule they hadn't officially met yet.

     "You must be Kuga." She smiled sweetly at the boy to my right.

     "Yes ma'am. It's a pleasure to finally meet you."

     "The pleasure is all mine. Thank you for looking after my daughter. She's lucky to have someone like you in her life."

     My face turned red and I looked away.

     "That means a lot. Your daughter means a great deal to me. If anything, I'm the lucky one to have her in my life."

     Why must he say these things? My face was practically a tomato at this point.

     "Thank you too, Ari. You've always been like a brother to (Y/N) and it truly means the world."

     Ari gave her a thumbs up. "I'll always look after her so there's no need to worry!"

     "You two can go get your food out of the fridge. I need to talk to my daughter for a second."

     Both of the boys left me and once they did, my mom leaned in to tell me something.

     "You chose a good one. He's cute too."

     I gasped in surprise. "Mom!"

     "What? I'm just saying, Kuga is a sweet guy and he's easy on the eyes."

     I can't believe that she was saying this.

     "Anyway, be careful ok?" She looked at me with concern etched into her eyes.

     "Of course." I hugged her before I made my way to the door.

     My friends and I walked out of the house and waited for a taxi to take us to the airport. The ride wasn't that long and we made it to the building.

     Once we were all there, we got our boarding passes before getting on the plane.

     I made it to my seat and saw that I had a window seat and Kyosuke was sitting next to me and he had Heath sitting next to him. 

     After listening to the safety guidelines, I put in my earphones and closed my eyes. I grabbed onto Kyosuke's left arm and leaned my head on his shoulder before I passed out.

     "Hey, we're here." I felt a hand gently shake my shoulder.

     I groggily opened my eyes and saw Kyosuke.
