     (Y/N) POV

The smile would not leave my face. I know that it's only one match but the win felt nice.

The rest of the team came over and hugged me. We made it to the next round.

"Impressive guys." I could hear Heath as he and his team made their way over to us.

"Thanks." I rubbed the back of my head and smiled.

"Didn't you only win by 1.5 seconds the last time you raced Saisei? It wasn't even that long ago." Hozumi wondered.

"Yup. I don't know how we increased the time gap by that much though." I was very perplexed about how the gap was that much.

"Probably because of your hellish training," Riku said as he remembered the training that he did with us.

"Most likely. The data said that everybody's decreased their usual times by 1-2 seconds." Ari said as he looked at his tablet.

That was impressive, then again, we had trained a lot since our last tournament. It would be disappointing if we hadn't improved a little. Then again, 2 seconds each was a lot. Not to mention, our relations were on point so there was little empty time.

"Umm...Ari! I was wondering about your timing. I mean, it looked like they would run into each other but they never did." Nana came up to Ari and asked him about our relations, which wasn't surprising. It was rare to see a team that did it the way we did. It's mostly thanks to Ari's impeccable timing and his amazing read on the other team's relationer.

"I'll tell you about it later!" Ari said since he was excited that somebody was interested in his job for a change.

I giggled, "Look at Mr. Popular." I elbowed him in his side. In response, he just flicked me on the forehead.

We headed back to the waiting room in order to get our bags. Everyone had left their bag in the room during the races so we made our way there.

Our team still had the adrenaline off of our win but we didn't want to be insensitive towards the other guys since they lost. We tried to keep a little distance since they were obviously very disappointed.

Once we had reached the waiting room everybody took a seat. Our team on the left sides of the tables so we could talk about our win.

"Next time, I want to win!"I heard Riku exclaim to Takeru.

That brought a smile to my face. The only way they could win is to have that type of attitude and Riku seemed to have figured that out.

"Guess we'll have to find a new sponsor since we didn't win the Spring Festival." Heath sighed.

I had forgotten that Diane had agreed to sponsor us only if we won the Spring Stride Festival. Our entire team suddenly froze up. The pressure was crushing us.

That's when Diane burst into the room. She had a huge box with her and in it was a bunch of white stride jackets. She started throwing them at the guys.

"Weren't you gonna stop sponsoring us since we lost?" Heath asked, very confused.

"No. One of Saisei's sponsors is a huge competitor. If I quit now, it would be like I was accepting defeat." She was obviously very competitive.

She walked over to our team and her demeanor completely changed. She gave us a big smile and said, "Great job on winning the first match."

We all sighed with relief. She handed each of us our new competition jackets. We would end up using the blue ones for practice and the white ones for matches.
