Emery's POV

The next day when I'd woken up,my papa,Orion was sat by my bedside with my breakfast on the table.

"Are you ok now?" I just nodded as I sat up.

"I bought breakfast for you" I smiled giving a silent thank you before I started eating.
I didn't know I was this hungry.

"Sweetheart, do you want to talk about it?" I shook my head stuffing my mouth with some pancakes.
I chewed as I saw my papa sitting there on the side of the bed I'd slept on last night in the guest room after my little fit.

"You know I love you right?and I don't really care if you're mute. You are the strongest,most beautifulest boy I've ever met and I'm proud of you,I'm so proud that I birthed such a strong and beautiful pup. I'm sorry on behalf of your father. We won't have anymore healers all throughout the lands to come see you because you are as healthy as they come,and being mute is sometimes always better than talking. If I could be mute,I would,because I'm so tired to talking to your brothers and reminding them of the smallest things like leaving their shoes on the rack instead of the kitchen floor where I trip 90% of the time" I smiled with a breathy silent laugh and he just chuckled.

"Shower up and come find me in my office alright?" I just nodded at his words.

"You can remodel your room" I just nodded as he left.
After I ate,I walked downstairs with my empty plate and glass of orange juice.

My dads were both sitting here having breakfast while my brothers were nowhere to be found.

"Emery,I'm sorry" dad says standing up and pulled me in a hug. I hugged him back before I pulled away and walked back upstairs after kissing papa Cole and my other dad,Silas on the cheek.
I entered my now empty room. A knock came to the door and I saw the construction crew here.

I waved for them to come in.
