Poetry filled with lust and lore,
of old folk tales and myth.Make a wish, upon sips
of earl grey tea and ink-stained
finger tips. Wish for more, for magic,
for fairytales galore. For dragons to fight the homework's toil,
of closed mindsets and deadlines and due dates.Furrowed eyebrows, and stress signs await.
Study as the last dying ember of flame flickers
out - wake up, revise, it burns once more. The anguish will turn into relief soon enough,
the torture extinguishing into dreams.Fuel the fire, ignite the spark.
The engine will burn with precious fuel
and we will awake our ever curious minds
once again to start anew.
