To dive into the melody
of soft brittle a' limb.Fragile masculinity paved
the way for ego to suppress
emotion.All that matters is the restless
beating of hearts sounding against
broken rib cages.Bones stretch, ache, and break.
All for the thrill of society's
gleeful wish.That man shall become warriors,
and strength shall prevail in the
challenge against the mind.After all, the mind succumbs long
before the bones heave in surrender.* * *
A/N: A tiny bit morbid, I didn't really intend for it to become this dark, I didn't really know where I was going with this poem but sort of just linked it back to Mankind.
