Icarus flew too close to the sun,
didn't he?

And the sun granted him death, via
an illusion of fiery flames. His punishment for
wishing to seek beyond the great beyond,
beyond the realm of wistful wonder.

Ironic, isn't it - how he was punished for
exploring the vast unknown, when these days,
we're punished for staying within our zones
of comfort, never seeking to venture for fear
of the unknown.

In some ways, icarus is the excuse we use
to downplay our actions, but never settle your
desire for adventure - it will thrive someday.

Oh, how the sun longs for company.
