Wings COMPLETED

Chapter 1

(Third person view)

"Rin Come on quickly! Hide in the room NOW!" Yukio shouted as he shut the door on his older brother and he ran downstairs and grabbed his guns and grenades and started to face off against the demon king that had entered and attacked the Okumura's home. Astaroth was after the prince as he knew his father was in need of him. Astaroth continued his attack until he ran and went to throw and punch to Yukio and the younger Okumura had no time to react to it. But he took no damage other than being knocked out after hitting the floor. 

"WHAT?!" Astaroth shouted shocked as he had not expected to see his prince standing before him protecting the exorcist he wished to kill. Rin lifted his foot and kicked Astaroth through the door with the help of the strength of his wings, he turned to Yukio and saw him unconscious then saw there were still demons about and things growing in the church that shouldn't be growing in a church. He soon fell to the ground because of the impact of the punch that had now sent a hole through Rin's stomach. Rin lay down and picked up his brother and hugged him, with Yukio's back facing him, Rin wrapped his wings around himself and Yukio so it looked like a ball of feathers on the floor. His wings were strong so they would protect him. Rin lay there taking in everything that had been said and done. He was still quite shocked to learn he was the son of Satan but then again he had wings since the age of six. He'd noticed them growing and learned to control them meaning he could show and hide them on command and that's what he did, no-one but he knows of his wings but he knew that was no longer true. Rin felt like sleeping but he had to protect Yukio so he forced himself to stay awake and good thing too because if he fell asleep he would be going to the other side.

Outside the monastery

The clergymen stood outside as they finished exorcising the demon king as it took quite some effort and time but now they had more to worry about, they had to get inside to make sure Rin and Yukio were okay as they had left them that night for an exorcist mission with the Palaiden, Shiro Fujimoto. And as they were about halfway through removing the wood from the entrance Shiro came back as he was held back talking to Mephisto. "What's going on?" He tried to sound less panicked. "Astaroth attacked, and we think something has happened to Rin and Yukio as we've heard nothing but we're not sure," Izumi explains and Shiro nods. "Keep clearing the entrance I'm going in," Shiro says as he goes around the side and smashes a window and makes his way in. He looks around at the destruction of the church and soon noticed a navy blue round object on the floor that looked furry, he cautiously made his way over to it and soon made out that they were wings. He moved his hand vigilantly and soon poked the wings hearing a gasp come from inside the wings He took a wild guess and asked? "Rin?" Shiro soon noticed movement and saw a Rin's head poke out from his wings he moved so he was in view of him and could see Rin properly. Rin looked worn out and very, very tired. "Are you alright?" Shiro asks worriedly. Rin hesitantly nods tiredly and Shiro ignores the fact he's tired and just assumes because it's very late at night. Shiro then goes onto to ask: "Where's Yukio?" Rin thinks for a moment before letting his legs come out from his wings and he un-curls his wings to reveal a knocked out but unharmed Yukio, Shiro checks over him to make sure he is alright and gives a nod of approval but he looks back to see his son slowly passing out and sees the large hole through his son's stomach. "RIN!" Shiro yells in shock and worry and he quickly places Yukio down to quickly lift his other son. He goes over to the entrance and kicks the bits of wood and makes his way out. "CALL AND AMBULANCE NOW!" Shiro shouts in a bit of a panic and Naoya quickly nods and pulls out the phone and dials for an ambulance at the exorcist hospital. Shiro sat down while holding his son as Rin's wings made him very heavy to carry. 

The other clergymen looked shocked and intrigued by the wings that Rin now had and they looked to Shiro and he shrugged. "Maruta can you go into the church and get Yukio please." Shiro requested and Maruto obliged as he went in and came out with Yukio. They waited for the ambulance and Shiro kept checking his son's pulse to make sure he was still alive, his pulse was slowing but the ambulance got there and was instantly attended too. Yukio was checked for injuries and put in a bed once he was at the hospital. Rin was taken into surgery and then left to recover.
