"I'm here to claim what is mine!" The demon screeched and vanished. "Where did he go?!" Rin shouted trying to figure out where the demon suddenly vanished too but they soon got their answer. They both looked up to see a Gehenna gate form. The gate wasn't large, about the size of the width and length of a van. So particularly big. "What is that?!!" Rin shouted confused and slightly scared, not that he'd ever admit that. "That's...A..." Yukio's words faltered so Shiro finished the sentence for him. "Giant Gehenna gate." Rin looked at him shocked but his attention was drawn to the flaming figure that reappeared behind him. "Assiah is mine!" Satan stated as he began his attack. Demons made their way out of Gehenna and into Assiah, the human world and the one Rin had grown to love even if he did sometimes hate the world for how it treated him. He blamed the world for his problems not having anyone else to blame it on.
"Now all that's left to do is wait for Gehenna and Assiah finally be mine!" Satan shouted but his attention was brought to Shiro holding a gun to the flamed figure. "Get out that body now!" Shiro demanded but no such act was done. Satan only left the body of the exorcist he was using as a host when it finally died. The flame figure left and did not return. The three of them kept looking around trying to find where Satan would appear next but he never did but another demon king did appear. Astaroth made his way up the stairs and shouted at Rin ready for a fight.
Rin looked at the demon king angrily, Astaroth was the one that stole his wings but then again Rin didn't know that. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!!" Rin shouted. Rin was angry at him because if he hadn't attacked that night Rin would still be flying high. "I'm here for mu lord of course!" Astaroth replied with a sadistic smile. Astaroth summoned his kin and sent them to attack. Astaroth waited behind not seeing a point in attacking such weaklings. Or at least that was his description of him but none were weaklings they were actually quite strong specifically a no longer winged Nephilim.
The exorcists fought off the demons the best they could and Astaroth was getting angry that he was losing. "YOU DAMN EXORCISTS!!" Astaroth screamed as he rushed at the exorcist's. Astaroth ran straight at Shiro and tried for a punch that Shiro dodged. Astaroth continued his attack none of the two realized where they were headed but the demon soon realized and kept punching at Shiro causing Shiro to move further and further back towards the edge of the building. "DAD!!!" Rin screamed and ran forward but Yukio stopped him thinking he was going to fight Astarith and not seeing Shiro so near the edge. "YUKIO! LET GO!!!" Rin yelled but Yuklio kept hold. "Rin, you can't fight Astaroth! He's too strong!" "I'M NOT TRYING TO FIGHT HIM!!!" Rin shouted trying to get out of Yukio's grip. "What?" Yukio asked confused. "I'M TRYING TO-" Rin and Yukio both stopped in their tracks when they heard a maniac laugh and a scream. They looked in the way of Astaroth and he stood at the edge. Alone...
Yukio looked back to Rin and realized what Rin was trying to do. Rin ran to Astaroth and looked over the building. There he was, dead, on the ground... Tears ran down Rin's face before he turned to Astaorth and screamed as he tried to punch him but failed and landed on all fours on the ground. Rin punched the ground as the waterworks continued. Yukio stood shocked and felt like crying but couldn't let out emotion because he trying to process what had just happened and what he had just done. He was thinking it was his fault.
"Now, your turn," Astaroth said with a sadistic grin and kicked Rin in the side causing him to roll and fall off the side and he missed gripping onto the edge...
Few minutes earlier
Gehenna
(Third person view)
"Sir, something's happening in the room our king wanted to keep locked." A demon came up to a more humanoid looking demon that was a higher up in Astaroths line of demons. "What?!" The demon shouted and quickly made his way to the locked room that was only authorized for certain people to go enter. "What the hell is happening?!" The demon questioned as the doors where shaking and the door sounded to be banging from the inside. "I don't know it just started d-" The doors burst open the demons jumped back. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!!" The higher up demon shouted angrily. "Sir..." "What?" The demon asked angrily. "The wings are gone..."
Assiah
"Now, your turn," Astaroth said with a sadistic grin and kicked Rin in the side causing him to roll and fall off the side and he missed gripping onto the edge...
Rin's breath hitched as the contact hit his back.
