Chapter 4

(Rin pov)

Yukio put me on his back and I groaned unhappily. "I can let you sit in the car all day if you want," Yukio told me and I huffed, I was NOT happy with being carried around places, but I didn't exactly have a choice. "That's what I thought," Yukio said as he carried me into the church and I heard my old man snicker behind my and I turned my head. "SHUT IT OLD MAN!" I yelled and he only laughed harder, I gritted my teeth and turned back grumpily. 'This is going to be torture.' I thought grumpily and angrily. 

Yukio carried me up to our room and put me on my bed and we were both lucky that I had the bottom bunk instead of the top or else that would be a task and a half. I huffed again as I was put down and put my elbow on my knee and chin on my hand. "Oh get over it, this the only way you're getting around for a long time." He told me as he walked out and I sat there quite angry, I always hated being weak this was like my worst nightmare, I hate feeling weak, means I can't protect Yukio. 'But then again... He's always been strong because he's an exorcist...' I look down sadly. 'Guess I never was that strong huh...' I thought. 'But I protected Yukio and always have and I can't let that go away now! I'll always protect Yukio no matter what it takes!' I thought enthusiastically with my trademark grin.

(Third person view)

It hadn't even been two hours and Rin was already trying to walk downstairs and it wasn't until Rin fell and made a loud thump noise that Shiro and the rest came to the bottom of the stairs to find Rin on his hands and knees as he had just fallen after his legs finally gave up on him after a long struggle of walking downstairs. "RIN!" Shiro ran over and was about to help Rin when he pushed Shiro away. "NO! I DON'T NEED YOUR HELP! I CAN WALK MYSELF!" He yelled determined and angry, he tried to get up again and when he took one step he fell again but was caught by Yukio. "FUCK OFF FOUR-EYES!" He yelled but Yukio took no notice to Rin's yelling and insults. He picked up Rin and put him on his back. "Rin started to yell at his brother. "PUT ME DOWN! GOD DAMNIT FOUR-EYES PUT ME DOWN!!!" Rin grew angrier. "YUKIO!" Rin picked up his fist and Yukio didn't react in time. "I SAID PUT ME DOWN!!!!!!!" Rin punched his brother in the head knocking him out and fell to the ground hitting the bottom stair and Rin rolled of Yukio and tried to stand. "RIN-" "SHUT UP!!! JUST SHUT UP!!!" Rin's flames ignited and he yelled and tried to make his wings before screaming and hammering the wooden floor with his fist and his head laid onto his clenched fists and he started to let angry and upset tears leave his eyes. Shiro took this as the best time to get Rin back to his room and so he put him on his back and walked upstairs after Maruta took Yukio and checked for any injuries and he had a small cut on his forehead and he would have a big bruise on his head and he would definitely feel it when they woke up. 

What the scary thing was that Rin had just hit his brother for the first time...

Time skip

(Mephisto pov)

"Why is little brother so mad big brother?" I heard Amaimon ask from above me standing on top of my floating chair/throne type seating. "He's not angry, his mourning is just turning into anger as he doesn't know how to deal with his feelings," I explain to Amaimon. "What is he mourning?" I hear him ask and I frown as I had just explained that Rin had lost his wings. "His wings." "How did he lose them?" I sighed at my brother's idiocy. "Wings don't just disappear Amaimon... But if you must know, Astaroth took them." "Hm, that's really not little brother's type of game." Amaimon says and I nod in agreement. "I wonder what his plan is," I say to both myself and Amaimon. "Shall I go in and meet Rin?" Amaimon questions looking down at me. "No, not yet, I want to do that," I tell him as I poof away and my chair poofs away too. 

I poof beside Shiro. "Hello, dear friend," I say in his ear and he doesn't jump but I see him slump and frown. "I have something for Rin and I'm going to give it to him," I say walking away and I hear Shiro shout at me and wondering what I'm going to do but I block him and continuing going to Rin's room and soon he faulters and walks back to the dining room. I open the door and see Rin lying on his bed but not asleep I also sense Yukio and so I stop time so he can't hear our conversation. "Hello, Rin..." I say and I see him jump slightly and I grin. He turns and frowns when he sees me. "Oh c'mon, I can't be that bad," I say teasingly and he frowns even more. "What do you want you damn clown?" "I want to give you this." I show him it and he looks at me confused and then back at me. "It may look weak but it will help you walk and means you can get around easier. and you can also..."

Once I had explained everything I left and let time go as it pleased once again. I went searched for Amaimon's presence and I floated up and made my chair appear and Amaimon came jumping back onto my chair. "What did you do big brother?" He asked. "I gave him a little something to help with his 'test'" I say and Amaimon questions no further as he knows I would rather not explain and he doesn't like it when I'm angry, I'm quite a burden to deal with when I'm angry and Amaimon knows that very well. I grin at my wonderful pawns future, "this will be very entertaining..."
