Months later

(Third person view)

Shots rang in both the teenager's ears as the younger twin fired his shots, hitting every mark on the spot. The older twin fought against Shura and was not tiring. Throughout the months they had been practicing Rin had got control of his flames and forgotten about most things his only focus was training, learning, and staying alive. He'd forgotten about his wings but the toll of losing his wings was a big one. Rin had become dull and quiet. He's lazy and can't do much but he forces himself to get up and train. He's trained every day for the past months and can now walk without the stick. He's also moved in with Yukio in the old boy's dorms, the Grigori thought it would be better for him to be in the dorms for constant surveillance.

"C'mon, you can do better than that!" Shura encouraged Rin as he fought against her. Shura stepped forward and went to hit Rin with Fang but failed as Rin tripped her with his Fang and she fell on her back. "I just did," Rin replied in a monotone voice and emotionless face. Shura gritted her teeth and groaned as she stood up and got into a fighting position and her sword in hand, Rin did the same. "God damnit kid you can't play dirty like that!" Shura warned the boy. "Yes I can, you do it, the old man does it," Rin replied with a little emotion in his voice but you wouldn't be able to notice unless you knew the boy once had emotions. They started again and Shura wanted him not to play dirty but Rin's not a fan of rules.

Over with the brown-haired boy, Yukio was practicing his target practice. Yukio was only asked to ask his target practice and that was it. He was left to relax (that's if he could) and have a few missions every now and then.

Shiro, on the other hand, is having all the time in the world. He's being given less and less missions and he's getting the suspicion that the Grigori are planning to replace him as paladin even after they said he would keep his role as Paladin, the most likely candidate for selection of paladin would be Angel and he's not exactly the... Friendliest of people. He's also been rather rude to Rin every time he sees the teenager. He'll often glare, spit, or throw insults at him.

With Shura and Rin

"Damnit kid! Stop cheatin'!" Shura shouted in annoyance as Rin found new ways each time to win by 'cheating'. "I'm not cheating!" Rin said with annoyance in his voice because the firey haired women had been complaining about Rin 'cheating' for the past hour. "Yes, ya are!" Shura fired back and a once silent voice interrupted them. "Will you just shut up about Rin cheating! He's not cheating and I can see that from here!" Yukio shouted while firing off bullets but stopped when he finished his sentence and packed up to leave. Yukio exited the room and the two followed him with their eyes. Rin looked back at Shura and she shrugged and they carried on fighting.

With Shiro

"Father!" One of the clergymen came racing into Shiro's office. "What is it?" Shiro asked putting his pen down. "You've been required to help at an attack happening at True Cross." The clergymen replies and Shiro nods and stands up walking out. "Any idea what demon and class are attacking?" "It's Satan Father." The clergyman replies and Shiro sighs and nods and walks to the door and opens a key to see demons of all kinds and class attacking and finally the demon himself. Blue fire flamed atop the abandoned dorm. (You know how he looks like in chapter 119, that how he looks). Shiro grumbled when he saw the demon and made his way to another exorcist to get the just of what was happening and their main aim right now.

"Aye, what's happened here?" Shiro asked and the man looked at Shiro for a moment before answering. "Satan's attacked, that's what." The exorcist asked sarcastically and obviously. "I know that! But why?" Shiro asks once again and the exorcist asks immediately with another attitude-filled answer but he wasn't entirely wrong. "Satan needs a reason?" Shiro left him knowing he won't get a proper answer and right now he was pretty looked down upon after being known for saving Satan's spawn.

Shiro started to make his way up to the roof of the boy's abandoned dorm where Satan flamed but what he did not see was the exorcist and exorcist in training stood with him getting ready for a fight but knew it wouldn't end well but they had to try. Shiro continued to make his way up the stairs quickly try to fight off the demon that was threatening to take away everything once again.

The doors opened the two teenagers looked to find Shiro's shocked face, Shiro looked at them scared for them, they were in the eyes of their father, the demon that wanted to use their bodies for his own selfish purposes. Shiro rushed over and asked if they were okay, they answered calmly they could understand why their father was worried, Satan was the strongest enemy known to exorcists. Shiro sighed in relief but then became angry again and looked up at the flaming creature. "What are you doing here?" Shiro asked angrily walking towards his adoptive sons and stood in front in a protective way. "I'm here to claim what is mine!" The demon screeched and vanished.
