"Today you will be deciding on your hero names," Aizawa said in his usual tired voice. Instantly, most of the class started cheering loudly. "But first, concerning the pro hero draft picks that were mentioned the other day. It's based on who the pros think will be ready to join the hero workforce after two or three more years. So you could say it's how they show interest in you. But they can also lose interest in you before you graduate." Aizawa pressed a button and the screen at the front of the room showed a display for the votes. Izaya had the most at 4,536. Todoroki had 4,094 and Bakugou had 3,223. After that the numbers dropped drastically with Tokoyami having the fourth most at 360. "There's typically more of a spread, but our top three have taken most of the spotlight."

"Gah, they're in a whole other league," Kaminari complained.

"These pros have no eyes for talent," Aoyama huffed when he didn't see his name up there.

"Well done Izaya and Todoroki," Yaoyorozu complemented.

"It's mostly my father's influence," Todoroki told her.

"Hmm I feel a bit bad though," Izaya muttered. "Maybe if I didn't take you and Mina out so quickly then maybe you might have gotten more of the spotlight."

"Oh it's alright, we were supposed to show what we were made of, I was just unable to match up to you."

"Yeah, you totally had me overwhelmed," Mina told him.

"With that settled," Aizawa started again. "Whether you were picked or not, you will all have the chance to work alongside heroes. It's true that you have already seen more than most students your age, but seeing pros in action and even taking part will be a worthwhile experience."

"And that is where our hero name comes in," Sato exclaimed.

"This is getting fun," Uraraka said.

"They're only tentative but you'll still want to pick an appropriate one-"

"Or you'll know true hell," Midnight said loudly as she bursted into the room. "The name you pick now will most likely be the name you'll use for your hero career. It's happened to plenty of pro heroes."

"Midnight is right, and she'll be judging the sensibility of your names. Think about what kind of future you see for yourself. Choosing a name will help cement your image, because names are capable of reflecting one's true nature."\

Markers were handed out along with boards for them to write their names on. But Izaya had already thought of one and he had been up late the past three nights with vigilante work. It was like Cat had waited to find those big gangs until he was able to help with it. So of course, and not really surprising to his classmates, he slept. After 15 minutes had passed, Midnight called out, waking him up.

"So then Michiya, considering you went to sleep, you must already know what your hero name is going to be. So how about it, what did you come up with?" Izaya smiled sleepily at her and got up before walking up empty handed. "You forgot your board."

"Um miss," Izuku said. He turned around and grabbed the board, showing her it was empty.

"So you didn't come up with anything but you still went to sleep."

"Now whatever are you talking about," Izaya asked as he stood behind his desk and looked at the rest of the class. "I came up with something, but this is me we're talking about. Just a boring board wouldn't be good enough." He held up a finger and created a flame. He then shot out small bursts and manipulated them into letters above his head. "The burning hero, Phoenix Fire." When he said that, the words swirled together and took the form of a rising phoenix before fading away.
