"Man, that is fucked up," Tai said.

As soon as he got back from Tsukauchi's questions, Izaya told the others about what he remembered during the talk. About Eri and the Shie Hassaikai. Currently everyone was at the home except for Sadao who was still at work.

"Well that explains why you got that idea of yours," Maria agreed. "But are you sure about this? This seems pretty risky. It might completely backfire on you as well."

"But we can't fight them ourselves," Ai told her. "That would definitely draw attention. And it's not a bad idea. Besides, we have to try. The only other option is to abandon that girl, or try to gather everyone for an attack. Which we might lose badly, and like I said, if we do win then that will show the authorities that there is an organized group out there capable of taking down that entire gang."

"Look man, we've told you before. You can do what you can to help people with that knowledge of yours while also trying to get info on that mystery person or group at the end," Taigen told him. "But if we have to we will cut you off and leave you to your troubles. Well this is one of those times. If things go badly, then you lose our support. And unlike what Ai said, I do think you have three options, but they're different from what she said. Abandon the girl, go through with your plan, or do some anonymous tip type of thing and hope things go well. Because I don't think we should really get involved with this."

Izaya smiled sadly at him before standing up. "I can't leave Eri behind, and a tip won't be enough. I have to do what I can to help get her free as soon as possible. If things go badly, I won't even bother returning. I would hate myself even more if you guys got caught because of me." Izaya turned around and started to walk to his and Taigen's room to grab his vigilante clothes.

"Hold on, are you going to get that dumb hoodie of yours?"

Izaya looked back at him confused. "Well yeah, I can't really let them see my face."

Taigen gave him his signature mischievous grin. "I don't like the idea of taking part, but I still can't have you going in that crap. It would hardly hide your identity." He opened a portal and an object came flying out and Izaya caught it. When he saw what it was his eyes widened. "You may have thought of it as a lost cause, but I could hardly let such good stuff go to waste. As you can see, it has not only been restored, but has a few tweaks made to it. Now then, get going."

"Ah, that brings back memories," Deku said while peeking over Izaya's shoulder.

Tsukauchi climbed into his car and turned it. He had ended up staying late, working on what had happened at the USJ. He was about to drive off, when he noticed a small letter on the passenger side seat. He opened it up, curious about its contents, who had left it, and how did they get it in there. He read it over, carefully reading each word.

It said that it was someone who had found information on an illegal group. They didn't want to come to the station and wanted to remain anonymous. But they were willing to talk to the detective, and had even set up a location for them to meet.

He considered the possibility of this being a trap, but something told him that it wasn't. He was also curious about the illegal group that the mystery person had information on. He decided to check it out and drove to the location in the letter. It wasn't far. It was a few streets over, at a small corner store.

When he arrived, he realized this was the place that had been attacked by four thugs, but then a vigilante had shown up. He didn't have the chance to think about it for long when he heard humming nearby. Following the source, he heard it coming from the rook of the building next to the store. Thinking that it might be the sender of the letter, he looked into the alleyway between the two buildings and found a small ladder leading up to the roof. He climbed it, and looked around when he got to the top.
