Great. Time to go back to hell. Back to where Clem would have to awkwardly see her roommate, Violet again.

She was dreading this for sure, and the party from last night didn't make it any better, I mean, she barely saw Lee or Carley yesterday.

To say she was a bit mad at them wouldn't be far from the truth.

All she wanted to do was see Marshall.

All she wanted to do was see Marshall..

Except she didn't know where he was. Which broke her heart immensely.

. . .

"Welcome back, kids!" Mr Ericson said, a huge smile on his face.

All the kids seemed to not want to come back today, though. They probably wanted to stay with their families.

Well, except for Violet, who of which caught her eye.

She was sitting under the same tree from yesterday, gazing upon the school with bored eyes.

Clem could see Brody and Sophie, and how AJ ran up to Sophie, Minerva, and Tenn, but she didn't really care all that much.

She wanted to talk to Violet.

That same weird force that seemed to control her mind made her want to talk to Violet, despite their last encounter.

No, she couldn't talk to Violet. Violet hated her, after all.

Except something forced her to.

Ugh. Not this again.

Clementine found herself walking and sitting under the tree with the blonde headed girl. She didn't make a sound when she sat down, only allowing herself to quietly follow the girls' gaze.

After a bit of silence, Clem finally decided to speak up.

"Uh.. hey..?" Clem asked, making the girl jump and look at the girl sitting beside her.

"What are you doing here?!" Violet asked, a bit shook up after the small scare.

"I just.. wanted to.. uh.. get to know you, is all.."

"Well, I don't. Goodbye."

"Come on, Violet.. please?"

"Oh my god," Violet muttered, placing her hand on her forehead. "Why?"

"It's the weekend, and.. and I figured, since i'm friends with Louis and them, I should get to know you, too?" Clem asked, a bit uncertain herself.

Violet didn't say anything, she only glared as she thought.

"S-sorry.. I'm not good at this.. I haven't really had any friends before.." Clem said, rubbing her neck and looking away. Violet sighed.

"You either?" Violet asked, catching Clem off guard. "Yeah. I'm not good with people. I guess.. that's why I came off a little rough. Uh.. sorry." Violet said, rubbing her forearm up and down as she made eye contact with Clem.

"Oh! Oh, it's okay. I get it." Clem said, staring into the blue-green eyes of the blonde haired girl.

"I.. uh. I should do this the right way. Hello, i'm Violet Adlon. Nice to meet you, Clementine." Violet said, a (surprisingly) big, but somewhat sad, smile on her face.

"Hi, Violet. I'm Clementine."

Violet and Clem stared at each other in confusion, before finally getting thrown into a fit of giggles as they both processed what Clem had just said.
