"Nooo!" The small girls' cries echoed through the house as she watched a group of men repeatedly beat the couple who went by the name of 'Marsh'. She cried as she just laid there and watched. She could do nothing more. She was a scared eight year old.
One of the sick men turned towards her, giving her a smirk of pleasure.
"Well, darling. My wife outta love you. She's always wanted a girl, but.. But after four sons, we figured it ain't gonna happen."
"I.. Pleeeease.. Don't hurt my mom and dad... Pleeeeease.."
"I'm sorry, sweetie. The wife wants what she wants." The man turned back towards the lifeless couple. Their bodies were folded over and limp, pale and sickly looking. The girls' lips trembled at the sight.
One of the other men snickered as he grabbed a match from his pocket. He flicked it across the box a few times before a flame finally sparked. He set fire to the rope in which binded the couple, and stepped back.
"Grab the girl." The man spoke. A few men went and grabbed the small girl - despite her struggles to get away.
The men took her out to their van. They all hauled inside of it, and placed the girl down on the seat.
"Buckle up, honey." The original man said. The girl just trembled more as he forcefully buckled her up.
"We need to get outta here, sir." A man sitting next to the girl said. The man nodded started to drive, cranking up the radio as he did so.
. . .
They arrived at the home many hours later. It was a large cabin deep in the woods. The girl was still trembling, holding her bag close to her.
It was the bag her parents had given her for school. It was a purple bag with flowers neatly designed on it.
As soon as they pulled up, a lady and five kids came running out. All who appeared to be of different ages.
"Finally! It's not easy taking care of five boys while you all are gone. Where the hell were you?" A lady asked as the boys jumped around the car, all yelling; "Daddies Home!"
"Oh man, honey. You'll never believe who I brought back for ya." The man who was driving said, finally taking off his hood to reveal his curly brown hair. The man motioned for his other men to open the van; in which they obeyed.
The men forcefully grabbed the girl out and shoved her next to the lady.
"Oh my god! Hello there, sweetie. What's your name?" The lady asked, kneeling down.
"C-C.." The girl tried to speak, but stuttered nervously.
"Tell her." The man with curly brown hair said.
"Clementine." The girl said quickly, as if she was afraid of the man, in which she wouldn't be blamed if so.
"Clementine. That's a beautiful name." The lady said. Clem looked into the ladies blue eyes, feeling tears forming in her own.
"Don't be afraid, sweetheart. You're our new daughter." The lady said.
"But-"
"No buts. Meet your brothers." The lady said, shoving Clem a bit. The boys ran up.
"I'm TJ. I'm twelve! Nice to meet you, Clementine." The boy said. He looked much like his dad, having curly brown hair and hazel eyes.
The other three looked like their mom. Bright blonde hair and blue eyes. If Clem hadn't been kidnapped, she would have thought of this family as rather quite charming indeed.
