"Good luck." Louis said as him and the others dropped Clementine off at the prison.

"Thank you." Clem said as she took a deep breath, stepping onto the curb, rubbing her wrist.

"I'm coming with you." AJ said as he hopped out of the car.

"Okay." Clem said as she took his hand.

"We'll pick you two up in about an hour, okay?" Violet asked sadly.

"Okay." Clem said again, staring blankly in front of her at the prison.

The group hesitantly shut the car door, driving off.

Clem took a deep breath, leading AJ into the prison.

"Clementine! You made it. Right this way." Jackson said, leading Clem and AJ into a room.

The room had a nice sized window, showing the other room Tayla was in. Tayla laid in the bed, slightly banging her head against the bed in frustration.

"We'll get right to it." Jackson said, leaving Clem and AJ. The two of them watched as Jackson talked to Tayla, a last word.

"I do not want you to hurt my husband, but you can kill my ungrateful little brats of kids." Tayla said, glaring daggers into Clem, making her flinch.

"If you say so." Jackson said, making sure she was strapped tightly into bed.

Jackson took a needle filled with something Clem or AJ didn't know of, and pressed it into Tayla's skin. He pressed down on it, inserting the fluid.

Tayla fought, screaming how she hopes her kids die, a painful and horrible death. Yelling about all the things they did to the kids, a huge smile across her face, as if she was enjoying each and every second of Clementine's misery.

Finally, she died.

"C-Clementine?" AJ asked, tugging on Clem's shirt. Clem couldn't say anything. There was a lump in her throat; a feeling of pain for everything she has been through. She wanted to cry, do anything, but nothing came out.

Jackson escorted Clementine and AJ out, wishing them the best of luck as they sat outside.

"Clem?.. What.. happened?" AJ asked Clem.

"I.. I.. uh.." Clem started to choke on her tears, which finally fell when the two were alone.

"It's okay, Clem. You don't have to tell me." AJ said as he awaited the others.

"We.. still have a while till the others get here.. do you want to walk around a bit...?" Clem asked AJ. AJ looked up at her and gave his best smile, nodding.

So, the two got up to go for a walk. They walked a few miles from the prison and decided to take a break.

A man.

On the other side of the road.

Clem probably shouldn't have thought anything.

He had black hair and brown eyes. He looked suspicious.

It couldn't..

Was it?

He noticed the two kids.

He walked over.

Everything is in slow motion. Clem's heart is racing, her tears are falling. Those eyes. Oh god, those eyes. She knows this guy.

He is undercover.

Trying to escape police.

He should have left state again.

It's.. it just fucking can't be.

It's Timothy.

Clem hated those eyes.

He always had those eyes when he looked at her.

"Why, hey there, girl." Tim- the man said.

"Who are you?!" AJ asked, stepping in front of her.

"The name is Timothy, boy. Move." Timothy pushed AJ to the ground, grabbing Clem's chin and kissing her as she stood frozen in fear.

"Heh. Remember this, girl?" Timothy asked in his smoke infested breath as he rubbed his hands up and down her body.

"Get away from me!" Clem said, finally snapping out of it, and kicking Timothy in the groin area. He yelled in pain, punching Clem to the ground.

Clem stood up, breathing heavily and slightly crying.

"Just like when you were a kid, huh? Except this time, you don't have Marshall to protect you." Timothy said, punching Clem to the ground again. By now, she had a bloody nose and two black eyes.

"You're right. She has me now." AJ said as he stood in front of Clem, him having a black eye, too.

"Don't make me laugh, kid." Timothy said, punching him to the ground, giving him, most probable, another black eye.

"Leave him alone! You can do whatever you want to me, but leave him alone." Clem said, kicking Timothy to the ground, him then punching her down one more time, straddling her as she fell on her back.

He grabbed a fistful of hair, slamming her head into the concrete, making Clem slowly lose conscious. AJ tried to pull Timothy off of Clem, only to receive an elbow to the gut.

"I SHOULD HAVE KILLED YOU A LONG TIME AGO!" Timothy practically yelled now, lifting her head up to slam one more time.

Suddenly, a few people pulled Timothy off of Clem.

Clem couldn't see. Or hear, in that case. All she knew, was that a weight was lifted off of her.

She felt herself slowly blacking out.

Except, only a few words made it to her ears.

"I HOPE SHE DIES!"

"THIS IS WHAT SHE DESERVES!"

"EVERYBODY HATES THAT SLUT!"

"SHE'LL END UP JUST LIKE ED AND DIANA; DEAD!"

"I HOPE SHE STOPS BREATHING!"

And then, she blacked out.

. . .

Clem slowly opened her eyes. She was met with the worried faces of her friends and family.

Clem swiftly sat up, despite everyone telling her not to.

She felt her face and looked around. AJ was watching her. He looked like he had been crying. Actually, it wasn't anything special. Everyone looked like they've been crying at this point.

"I-I saw Timothy. And.. And.. He..." Clem tried to talk, but Lee hushed her.

"I know sweet pea. He's.. Gone.. now, okay? It's alright. I'm so sorry I wasn't there. Carley had my car, I couldn't-" Lee started to ramble as Clem looked around.

"It's okay." Clem said, rubbing her eyes and sighing. Everyone looked at her sadly. Nobody could imagine anything like that.

"He.. He said that he should have.. Killed me before.. That.. That... He hoped I stopped breathing, and.." Clem started to tear up now, Violet, Lee, and AJ getting to her side.

The others stood back. They couldn't do much. They didn't know what to do, and they didn't want to crowd Clem for nothing.

"It's okay, Clem." AJ said, holding Clem's hand. Clem looked at AJ's face. It was bruised and still had dried blood on it. Clem wanted to puke when she saw it.

How could someone hurt a little kid like that?

Oh, wait. Monsters don't have feelings.

Clem only whined at AJ's response.

"I want to see Marshall." Clem whined.

"I know you do." Lee said in a sigh, rubbing Clem's wrist, glancing up at the big gash on the back of Clem's head.

There had been bleeding, where she had needed stitches on the back of her head. She was lucky to only get out with that.

"It'll be okay." Violet mumbled, letting Clem leaning into her neck.

"I hope." Clem whined.
