"What the..." I was yelling with all my force but the grip was firm.

"Okay. Will you stop this drama? I mean, you are not gonna get killed if someone grabbed you."

Jayden. Damn.

"You went to the guest room, right? Then how did you come here?" I was in dilemma.

"I have already seen you and you were talking to Dylan. So I followed you."

"Ah, followed me? Why? Wanna find another Magoa?" I smirked.

He glared at me, even the silence he hold onto has words to yell, I always felt that.

"How dare you talk to me like that. I am your boss.."

Here goes the bragging.

"Well, boss, you haven't taken that bloody hands of yours from my hips, if you can't I'd love to rip it out for you." A smirk was etched on my face.

He suddenly took his hands away from me, I could feel the anger bursting through his face, wrecking his nerves.

"I wanted to know something related to Theodore.."

"Oh the guy from antique shop!" I exclaimed.

"Yeah, the owner of this place knows him very well. I wanted to meet him but he is stubborn but then my guys informed me about your past with him."

"Mm, so?"

"You have to fetch that for me tomorrow itself."

"What?! I work at your company not as your personal spy. Damn it." I hissed in anger. I couldn't take all these anymore. I was done.

"Well, it's an order and yes it is much less dangerous than carrying drugs, so if you don't wanna face consequences..." His glance was firm, his face was blank, as if he was uttering someone's death!

Bullshit.

"And what'd you do if I resigned from your damn company?"

"Oh, you threatening me now! I have ways."

"Really, you..Ugh..Why me?"

"Nobody would doubt you. Nobody knows you are associated with me. It's..It's important Helen." He was tensed and there was something nagging behind the back of his mind.

"I..I need to think, Mr. Jayden." I finally agreed to at least think about it ignoring the images of Nick floating in front of me.

"Mm, who was that guy?"

"Who? Talking about Dylan?"

"No, the one you were dancing with....."

"Oh, why'd you wanna know?"

"Leave it, then."

"Okay."

I sauntered towards the toilet, leaving the puzzled Jayden behind. I could feel his glare drilling holes behind my back.

I stared at the big mirror in front of me. It showed my messy hair, my nervous glance raked over myself while I saw him walking behind me.

His steps reduced our proximity, almost a chill passed through my body when he came close to me.

"Wanna..wanna dance with me?"

Fuck. Is he the real Jayden or my mind playing games with me?

"But..people would see you with me."

"Well, not in a bar where strangers hook up. Come with me." His voice for the first time ever was soothing, calm, I felt I was in a dream with the most hated man in my life. Was it hate? I don't know.

I trudged behind him. He had grabbed  my hands smoothly.

There were less people now and Ezlyn was nowhere to find. Tucking my hair, I stared at him. Our walk ended in the middle of the floor, 'something just like this' a remix of it was now playing unlike other ones which were played early.

He danced with a grace along with me, something I thought I'd never ever witness in my whole life.

He was calm.

He was silent.

His eyes talked with me, they were full of enthusiasm, as if they found someone to fall deeply inside it, never wanting to be found ever again.

His grip didn't has much force, he didn't kill the dance but rocked it, he carried me alongside with him.

Ecstasy was dripping through my face or was I blushing? I don't want an answer coz I know, I was in a wonderland where no one had taken me.

It was beautiful.

I glanced his face, he desired to continue his dancing but a sudden jerk caused us to halt our dance.

"What the hell Jayden? You know her?"

"River, I know her from a dance club. That's all."

River.

"Oh, now I see how you got into our company, bitch!"

"Shut it." That was all from Jayden followed by a slap. "How dare you call her that!"

"What is wrong with you, Jayden?!" Cupping his face, River said, anger lacing his words.

It was all turning blurry and the last thing I saw was, Jayden dragging River out of the club, leaving me behind.

"Hel.." Ezlyn came near me in a hurry. "What happened?"

"Nothing, nothing happened. He is my company owner. I mean both are. I have told you about them."

"Yeah, arrogant one. Leave him."

A gloominess filled my soul, my face went down with it. It was shards of glasses slicing through me, when he just went away from me. I don't know what is happening to me all of a sudden.

"Helen, Helen."

"Stef?"

"No, it's Ezlyn, you idiot. Still thinking of her? Can we go now? She will not meet you even if you're in danger. That's how the relationship have been torn."

"I..What did I do to deserve all these? I don't know Ez." I was blurred with all the thoughts, all the moments where I lost my Stef.

"Nothing. She didn't deserve you, so she went away. That's it. Sshh..Don't cry hel, I love you. I love you so much."

Ezlyn hugged me. She was caring and I had got someone who love me like anything, but her lose still stings the back of my mind.

From something to just an acquaintance, River, all those just happened had triggered a memory which I wanted to shove in the abyss of my mind.

It was flooding, as if that dam of mind had broken. I need to get out now.  Ezlyn immediately took me out, drove me away from the club.

I felt choked by them, the fresh air was serving me no purpose but trying to hug me carefully which was in vain.

Stefanie slowly walked towards the dance floor and stood for a moment, before leaving she sighed and wrenched her glance away from the things she just witnessed.

Dylan was watching all these in a confused glance, and he paced out of the club in scurried steps.
