"You're late, Helen, you're not gonna make it," my mom's words reverberated in my mind, as I was running in a frenzy through the street.

"I'm late, that too for that wretched man's...ah..god," I was panting like a dog.

According to google, I have reached destination but I am still standing in the middle of nowhere.

The antique shop infront of me must have a story to tell, otherwise where the hell is this damn Reyes company.

I squinted at the shop, ogling at my own reflection on the mirror placed in the door. I waited for a minute to make the google realise it's mistake.

One minute.

Two minute.

No way in hell. Your destiny has arrived, a voice kept ringing in my ears, reeking off the arrogance of myself for thinking that I'd be getting a job in such a big company and ended up in this rusty, antique shop!

"Hey, do you..um..do you know a Reyes company," I asked a guy.

"Yeah, it's two blocks down the lane, it's a new one, so nobody would've known much about it," he replied, grinning.

"Oh, okay, thanks," I strolled past him towards the direction he mentioned.

Suddenly my glance fell on a tower, standing in a far fetched, relentless manner, embracing the sky, though I was baffled at the aesthetic ambience it imparted along with a glow of elegance, I rushed into it, my eyes searching for the lift, ignoring the aura of flowers that adorned the reception and a handsome man sitting on the counter, passing me perplexed look.

"May I help you?" He asked.

"You may not," as I have seen the lift, I strode past him.

As a map of floors has been attached in the lift, it was easier for me to find the floor where interview was being held.

I rushed into an empty waiting room, carrying a dazed face. "Why isn't there any other person?"

My eyes darted over the place, to assess the furniture and tapestry that carves out a classy look for the room.

There was an enormous window, from where the breeze would kiss the elegance that the room reeks off!

Suddenly foot steps from behind me distracted my focus. I gulped hard on taking in the sight of the stout man standing in front of me.

Dylan Rhodes!

"Miss, miss?!"

I found myself standing in a haze, dazed enough to not find a way to breathe, choking on the events of last night! What have I gotten myself into!

"Miss, what happened?"

"Nothing!" Yeah, that's right, Hel.

"So if I may ask, why are you here?"

"Mm, interview, yeah, there was an interview here," shrugging, I fought hard to construct words out for a temporary relief.

"But you're half an hour early!" He told, with amusement raking over his face.

"How's that possible... ugh, mom! I knew it. Her acts were so damn pretentious, argh, still I bought it," I was fuming, as I remembered the stress I had plunged myself into before reaching here.

"Um, how about looking at a watch or even the mobile you've got..but can't blame you, it's the mom after all, and when she says sun sets east, that's it!" his eyes were tingling, as he blurted.

"Haha, damn true!" I chuckled, forgetting the place, the moment and all the sprints and hurdles I have jumped to reach here.

"Well, our MD might reach soon. Please wait here," he retreated as I stood like a statue!

"Oh and by the way my name is Dylan Rhodes, nice to meet you, miss..."

"It's Helen Jane, Mr.Dylan," smiling, I replied although a frown found it's way towards my mind.

"Your face...Your face seems familiar to me."

"I am a dancer and have done few.. um..few shows," even though I hadn't done any, I lied to avert his attention, "anyway glad to meet you," after retorting, I turned around, clicking my high heels. I could feel his gaze drilling holes in my back, shrugging off, I slouched on a couch.

He went away, but mysteries started floating in my mind, the events happened, now meeting him here, at a well reputed company, things don't connect.

"Excuse me, are you Helen Jane? It's your turn, go to that room," a lady in her 30s informed.

"Yeah, okay," suspiciously glancing at her, I walked towards the room. There was surge of adrenaline in my body, as I was gonna see Mr. Jayden.

The speculations, contemplations everything made me curious enough to take large steps towards the room.

"May I come in?" I asked.

"No, you may not," somebody replied from inside. My gaze followed the voice and I saw a man clad in white crisp shirt, staring at me intently.

But..But that's not him. Then why in the hell did he give me that card. Damn! It was getting on my nerves carving my senses as that husky voice pulled me out of the trance.

"Oh my!" I realised as I had seen the same guy at reception and I guess my interview is done!

"Why?"another member asked, wiggling his eyebrows.

"She is so ill mannered. I've seen her from the ground floor when she was rushing here, brat she is, a rich spoilt brat!" Clenching his fists, he snarled.

"What the hell! Is he mad or what?" I asked to myself, in a mumbling voice.

"Get out, now" he hissed in anger, as I was taking in the sight in front of me.

"Oh really! Excuse me, you're not the owner of the company to bark like this," I reported with fury creeping up my body, while I glared at him.

"Yes, I am, idiot. See, she don't even know the owner of this company, how can she even work here," his fists landed on the table, the empty flower vase shivering in the tremor.

"What the! Then who the hell is Jay..." I was trembling.

"Enough! Get lost!"

"I am going. Who wants to work with such a mad dog like you! Oh by the way please don't ever sit in the reception chair, it's an insult for their reputation, they've something you don't! Class!" I smirked and stomped my way out of the room, only to be the victim of thousands of gazes as there were a flood of applicants!

"What happened? How was your interview?" They asked.

"Nothing, they offered me the job of ceo but I wasn't interested," I shrugged off as I received gasps from the crowd.

Making my way out of the building, I sat on the rusty bench on the sideway, glancing at the road.

Fishing out the card, I examined it carefully and tried to retrieve the whole incidents, thinking that Jayden owned Reyes company, him handing me over the card for seeing him, and then landing on the antique shop.

As driven by an instinct, I stood up and sauntered towards the antique shop. Shutting the glass door behind me, my face palely loitterd at the glimpse of the place which lacked human presence!

"Hello," I called out.

"Yes," a husky voice came from behind me.

"You! Why did you lie to me? Liar!" It's him Jayden Reyes, I hissed, as I clenched my fists in anger!
