"What the fuck, Ez?" He cupped his cheeks in agony.

"You bastard, because of you she got an extra slap, hadn't you moved she wouldn't have got that. I know you're taking revenge of that fight you had with her," Ezlyn was spitting rage as her glance smouldered over Jace.

"I..Ez..I-I didn't-didn't mean.." His eyes were drenched in her thunderstorm yet he gathered himself up and scurried away, leaving the cafe as he didn't have anything to defend his well intentioned deed.

"Ezlyn why the fuck did you do that? He was only trying to help. You have an awful sense of instinct when it comes to him," I forgot the slaps I received when I saw Jace darting away from us.

I felt like something is pricking my heart which made me ache.

"Hel what's wrong with you? He's a jerk. You forgot what happened with you and him in this cafe?" Wiggling her eyebrows she asked in rage. 

"I planned that bloody act to protect your job and this fucking cafe, he helped me in it. Heck, even he had done so many things for me only because he loved you but was afraid to face you because, because of his bloody stammering problem!"

"What the hell! Why didn't you tell me this earlier?" Ezlyn's face was etched with an agony, sliding it's way into her while she could hardly digest the truth!

"I don't know maybe I was not in a state, I was busy and why the hell didn't you ever look at his face properly? It gets clearly flustered whenever he comes near you."

"I thought of him as a jerk so couldn't make out his intention solely from his face expressions. I mean how could I? He did and said only bad things especially in my cafe.." Ez was about break her dam of compalints about him but I signalled her to stop.

"Really?! He had come near you before that too, then also you ignored him.."

"That..That I don't know. You could've told me that Helen, why the hell you never mentioned about him?"

"As if I mentioned him you would've looked at him. First I thought to tell about him, Ez, but then I thought you don't have any feelings for him then why should I?" Wiggling my eyebrows I tried to tell the truth.

"Atleast I wouldn't have slapped him now if I knew his exact intentions. But then also.."

"Also?"

"Nothing leave it."

"Ouch my cheeks, it hurts. Get me an ice pack. We should clean this place."

"We should kill that bastard who slapped you." Ezlyn was on fire when she remembered the while incident.

"Neither are us that powerful nor we have that much weapons to kill his gang. So we should leave him."

"Leave him? Are you mad? He's gonna come again." Ezlyn's words reverberated the symphony of fear inside me. I was sure I need to face that fate again in my life. I am not sure whether I would be able to stand upto him.

"I know." A deep frown was etched on my mind erasing every other thoughts and it was a mayhem! "You brought this upon yourselves Helen Jane. Now you need to pay the price."

"You know, if you have any problem with me, you should come face to face with me. But no, you went to Hel-one of my ex-employee," fury was seething through his face while slapping John, who was tied to the chair.

"Oh really, if she was just an ex employee I wouldn't have chained up like this," smirking John replied while spitting blood.

"Don't you dare say a word about her," rage was filling in Jayden's eyes as if it is gonna burn him down.

"Aw little puppy, where did your courage went, the Jayden Reyes of Reyes industry."

Jayden took a step back, a veil of silence prevailing in his face, making the rage fade down little bit as if it was paving way for a storm of violence.

"I know the whole truth Jayden, how that bastard father of yours built all this empire, I know, and he..he is gonna burn it down," his eyes were dazzling in the revenge he wanted for his family.

"Damn. You really sure you going to live till that moment when he arrives from his hibernation only to get murdered by me?" Jayden asked.

A menacing smile adorned his face as the small blade passed through John's neck, making the blood splash in his face while John took his last breathe.

"Magoa, I am concerned about her safety, I think making her involve in my business was a big mistake."

"No Jay, if that's her fate we can't do anything about.."

"To hell with fate. I..I don't wanna lose her man. She..I can't even imagine losing her ever!" His lips were twitching while those words cake out of it.
