CHAPTER 5- Secrets

Was this all a bad dream? Or am I dead?

I was slammed and pinned onto the ground. Fear takes over as I scream and squirm, not daring to look into his eyes.

But it was no use, there was no escape.

No escape. the only two words that went through my head.

All this time I though I could live a normal life but clearly fate hates my guts. All I wanted was to graduate and live a better life and now I've been pinned down onto the floor by some hideous creature.

I try to pry his sharp claws away from my wrist but it cuts deeper into my skin making me scream in pain.

I hear him in my head and he keeps repeating the same thing over and over again.

Mine.

Suddenly his fangs become sharper. he sniffs my neck for a couple of seconds as I gulp in fear.

He growls then plunges his canines sink into my neck (just above my collar bone).

I scream at the contact as his canines dig deeper. I feel something in me grow stronger and a whole heap of emotions run through me. The pain was unbearable but felt soothing in a way.

My connection with Logan had deepened and become more stronger for some reason as I feel a strong powerful energy coarse through my body.

One word forms in my head.

Mate.

What did that mean?

I didn't have enough time to figure it out because next thing you know I pass out into darkness wondering what reality really was.

"Hey you ok? Can you hear me?" A soft husky voice asks as I groan in pain.

The voice sends a shiver through me. why did I feel so sensitive? And I feel so emotional for no reason. My head Hurts as though someone had hit a bat across my head.

My neck burns and my mouth is parched.

"W-where am I?" I say hoarsely as I turn to find logan staring at me with a worried look on his face. My vision was a bit blurry without my glasses but I could see more little by little.

"You're in my quarters" he replies as he strokes my mark on my neck. A pleasurable shiver runs through me as I rub harder against his touch.

I realise what I'm doing and immediately stop. What the heck am I doing? Have I gone crazy? That was so embarrassing.

"You like that princess?" he smirks as he continues stroking my mark.

"Shut up turner" I mumble as I abruptly get up. so many questions were running through my head. I knew I wouldn't know the answer to them but he did.

I turn to look at logan.

"You were....that thing" I mutter as I avoid his eyes.

He smiles sadly as he stares lovingly into my eyes when I turn to look at him.

"Yes i know and you must of been scared, but I was angry and couldn't control it. it makes me angry when someone touches you" he replies with a hard look.

"What did you do to me and why am I here?" I say through gritted teeth.

"You'll understand everything after staying here but you're in danger Jamie. someone wants you dead and some how knows your every move. I tried to keep you safe by pretending that you were not my mate and that's why...." he looks away.
