Casey's home ^

I blinked the grogginess away and wince at the sudden flash of light as I opened my eyes.

I shut them again.

Then I tried again, slowly opening my eyes. My head was POUNDING, and I glanced around at a familiar bedroom.

But this wasn't my bedroom. "HA! This looks almost like Casey's bedroom." I mumble aloud, looking around at the chestnut furniture.

Then I freeze as my eye's locks on a small, pink plant. It sits in a ray of sunlight, like me, that comes from the bay window.

This IS Casey's room. The realization shocks me as I race to remember what happened last night. I try to recall anything, but the last thing I remember is him holding my hand.

I freeze again as I shift and the covers fall, revealing my muscular body, clad only in bright pink boxers that aren't mine.

Oh my god we didn't... no! I don't feel like I've felt every other time after sex. My hips don't hurt, and I feel fine. Other than a pounding headache, I feel well rested and preppy. I mentally laugh at myself for being so foolish. Casey and I having... the thought is so ridiculous.

Then what was I doing in Casey's bedroom?

"Ah good! You're awake." Says a familiar voice. My eyes jump to it. To Casey. He stands in the doorway, leaning casually against the wall. His eyes are cast slightly down to protect my modesty.

"I... Casey! I have no idea how I ended up here or who's clothes I'm wearing or what happened to my clothes or-" I realize I'm rambling and shut my mouth.

"It's ok, I washed your clothes." He says. "And those are my boxers and I'd like them back please." I realize he's forcing a smile.

"Casey? Is everything alright?" I ask, and suddenly I do remember something from last night.

I'd rolled over, wincing as light flooded in from the hallway. Casey's silhouette was framed in the doorway. "Casey? Is everything alright?" I'd asked him, struggling to rise out of the bed. My limbs felt like Jello.

"I'm fine Max. Just move over, there's no way I'm sleeping on the floor." He said, smiling.

I'd smiled back and rolled over to the edge of the bed, letting him lay down. Then I'd promptly collapsed and hadn't woken up again.

"Um... Casey?" I try to hide my excitement behind confusion. WE'D SLEPT TOGETHER! "Why am I in your bed?"

"You don't remember? You drank too much last night and couldn't get home. My room was the only one free?" He says, his tone indifferent and his face blank.

"Oh..." I try not to let my disappointment seep into my tone or show on my face, but it's hard.

"I..." Then I wince, my head pounding again. Casey notices and walks over.

He pulls out a bottle of Tylenol and a glass from his nightstand. He grabs 2 pills and sets them in front of me as he walks into his ensuite bathroom.

I hear the water running and he reappears, the glass half-filled. He sets it in front of me and I pop both pills in my mouth. I chug the water and the pills go down quickly. I smile at him, grateful, but he ducks his head and looks away.

"Casey? Are you sure you're ok?" I ask, my smile fading as he leaves the room.

"Fine." He says, turning to me. But something is obviously wrong. "Go shower, you can use mine." He says, wrinkling his nose in mock disgust. "I'll give you back your clothes."
