Season two was amidst filming, Nini had just arrived in Denver for the Youth Actor's conservatatory and had met a new boy called Sam, he had a crush on Nini and had no idea about Ricky. He was played by an actor called Nick Barkley. Olivia and Nick, were sitting on their director style chairs, they were filming on a soundstage next to where Nini's bedroom scenes were filmed. 

"Really? I can't believe that happened" She laughed, in reaction to Nick's story. 

"I know, right? It's crazy" He laughed too, he smiled at her, blatantly staring at her face. Feeling awkward, she looked away at the ground. He mistook this for shyness or blushing, lifting up her face with a hand on her cheek, he made eye contact with her. Glancing at his hand in confusion, she raised an eyebrow. Ignoring her subtle ways of showing her lack of interest, he lent in to kiss her. Harshly moving away, she placed a hand on his chest to keep him at bay. 

"Sorry" She muttered, 

"What do you have a boyfriend or something?" He asked incredulous with anger. Panicking, she could tell this wouldn't end well. "Is it that Josh person?"

"Yes, it's Josh" She blurted out, too panicked to think of the consequences. He shook off her hand and turned away with a scoff and a glare at the ground. As if he knew what was going on, Josh strolled into the room with a smile. Olivia sent a pleading expression at him from her chair, Josh understood instantly and came over to stand by her with his arms open. She met him eagerly and hugged him, whispering in his ear as they parted "Just go with it. Please" 

"Hey Babe, you coming for a scene?" Olivia smiled, the word and sentiment were real but still the word Babe felt strange on her tongue but somehow oddly right. 

"Yep, it's the scene when I talk to Nini's moms... Babe" Josh grinned and winked after he said babe, there was no way Liv was ever living this down. She rolled her eyes and grabbed his hand. Josh went and sat down on the chair nearest, he expected her to sit to his left between him and Nick, but instead she perched herself on his knee and wrapped an arm around his neck. After getting over the initial shock of this new form of contact, they'd hugged and held hands before it was all normal for them; this was new but nevertheless nice, he wound his arm around her hips and pulled her tighter to his body. Blushing, she tried to ignore her heart beating and the feeling of Josh's eyes on her face watching her face redden. He smirked proudly as he watched Nick's face flush red too, but in anger. Soon, Nick stomped off in frustration. Olivia turned to Josh with a grateful smile donned on her face, she hugged him tightly, her arm joining the other around his neck. She was still sat on his lap, she pulled away from the hug and stared into his eyes. 

"I am so sorry" Together they burst out laughing, they had gotten themselves into such a strange situation. "He tried to kiss me and when I said no-"

"You didn't want to kiss him" Josh interrupted eagerly, Liv raised her eyebrow with a smirk, 

"Actually, no I didn't. Well he asked me if I had a boyfriend, asked if it was you... and I panicked and said yes. He was getting kind of aggressive and I didn't know what to do. I really am sorry Joshy." 

"It's okay Liv, you know I'd do anything for you, right?" He replied, she nodded with a small smile.  They remained like this until Matt walked past. He did a double take and blinked, not sure if what he was seeing was really happening. He walked up to them, they were oblivious to his presence until he coughed awkardly. Olivia jumped off of Josh like he was lava. "H-hi Matt" Josh stuttered, running his hands through his hair and looking down nervously. 

"What was that?" Matt laughed emphasising the what. Olivia turned to Josh, begging him to help. Josh shrugged and sent a just as desperate look right back. Tim popped his head round the corner and waved Josh over. 

"Thank God" Josh uttered under his breathe, he could not get out of there faster. Olivia watched him start to leave and she gestured to him and started to walk backwards away from Matt.

"Uh, scene, watch, bye" She blurted as she ran off to watch Josh film his scene. Matt was left in the dust just as confused as when he walked past. As she watched the scene, she couldn't help but worry. What does she do now? Do they keep up this charade to avoid Nick's unwanted advances? Why did it feel so right? And why, why did she love every second she spent with him. 

Oh no. This isn't good. 

The scene ended with Ricky sitting on Nini's bed, in her room that looked slightly deserted, holding a picture of them together wistfully. As the last take was finished and they'd got all the camera angles finished, Josh walked up to Olivia sheepishly with his hands in his pockets. 

"Do you wanna go back to your trailer? We should probably talk about all this" She nodded and abruptly jumped onto his back. He wobbled but quickly supported her. "Jesus Liv, give a guy some warning" He laughed as she hugged tight onto his back, she told herself it was so that she wouldn't fall, but who are we kidding? She just wanted to be close to him. As they reached outside her trailer, Josh slowly put her down. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Nick marching up to them, obviously very angry. 

"I really don't want to deal with him right now" She murmured  to herself, "Josh" She said louder, alerting him to turn his head to face hers. "I'm sorry" She reached up on her tip toes and grabbed his face with both hands and kissed him passionately. He was shocked for a second, but soon he dipped his face down to meet hers and pulled her closer with his hands on her waist. After a couple minutes, Olivia took a break pulled away and spoke between kisses.

"Has" "He" "Gone" "Yet?" A kiss between every word. Josh pulled away with a shy grin, 

"Oh he left ages ago" Olivia pulled away, moving her hands down to his neck. 

"If you knew he was gone, why did you keep kissing me?" She asked sounding hurt, 

"I-I wanted to" He stuttered, trying to look anywhere but her. She moved his head so he had to face her, with a beaming smile she spoke:

"You wanted to kiss me?" She confirmed. He nodded shyly. 

"I'm sorry if I crossed a boundary, we can forget about it if you want, say it was just practice for Ricky and Nini" He rambled. She shut him up with another short kiss. 

"I don't want to forget about it." She announced. He wrapped his arms around her waist and picked her up, causing her to squeal, and spun her around laughing. "Joshy" She said with in a sudden serious tone, "I like you. I really like you and I have for a while."

"I sense a but" He frowned, "Whatever it is, I just want you to know. I'm not going to do anything that you don't want to but I really really  like you and I want to be with you" 

"I was gonna say we should keep it a secret so it doesn't interfere with anything, but... Nick already knows and Matt is suspicious and soon everyone else will know too because it's common knowledge Matt can't keep a secret to save his life. So honestly... fuck it. I want to be with you"

"Olivia! Language!" Josh scolded in mock outrage. 

"Shut up and kiss me" She laughed  and started to lean in, 

"I don't know if i can kiss someone who swe-" He was cut off by Olivia crashing her lips into his. 

"What were you saying?" She smirked, 

"I have no idea, I forgot." He replied with a dopey grin. Matching his grin, she grabbed his hand and pulled him back to set. Occasionally, he would stop her for a quick kiss. She pretended to be annoyed but they both knew she loved it. She loved him.
