(Paint It Black - Hidden Citizens.)
-Kuai's POV- The sun is high in the sky as I slam the doors to the White Lotus temple open. To hide Raiden's temple from the rest of humanity, we have it placed on an island , surrounded by clouds, and hidden to people on Pangea Ultima.

"Kuai, wait! Please!" Bi-Han sounds frightened and desperate.

"For what? More lies?" I snap, turning to face him. He stands at the bottom of the steps, panting. "Brother, I only stated those things to help you! You were improving so much, and I was happy for you. But for you to unveil all of this," he motions to my silver claws and wound over my heart. "It breaks my heart to see you this way...."

"Then may your heart shatter like the fragile glass that it is!" I scream, making him flinch back at my sudden ferocity. "What happened to you?" Bi-Han's voice comes out in a pleading cry. His hair is a tangled mess under the blue hood.

"Anger happened, brother." I spat, feeling more dark energy on my hands. "Hatred poisoned my heart. How do I know of any of you really care? Does Hanzo? Raiden? Hell, do you care?!"
"I always have cared!" Now he sounds angry. Frustrated.
"I have wanted nothing more than to see you happy and well! I would lay down my life just to see you better!"

"How do I know this is not another lie?" I tilt my head. "Why would I lie to you?" He demands. "What would I gain in lying to you, Kuai? Do you think I have some sick satisfaction in seeing you hurt? Seeing you like this?" He takes a step closer.

"Forget about Hanzo and Raiden right now. They will not interfere. It's just you and me...." His voice is low, holding his hands up cautiously.
"Just focus on me." His blue eyes reflect the sunlight with his tears.
I feel my hands unclench as he gets face to face with me.

He's within touching distance now, his cape flowing in the wind. "Don't look at anything else," he murmurs. "Just look into my eyes." I flinch when he touched my cheek. His worried gaze softens.
"That's it...." He looks down at me. My eyes widen when I feel his lips meet mine in a light kiss. It was quick, but not without the usual affection his other kisses held.

His eyes widen in pain as his face pales.
"K-Kuai...." I look down. I had jabbed one of my claws into his side, between two of his ribs. His blue cloak quickly darkens with blood. I look back up at him in shock. I didn't even realize I had done such a thing.

"B-B-...." I can't even say his name.
"Run away if you must....but I'll find you. With the stars as my witness, I will follow you to the ends of the Earth." He smiles weakly, wincing as he yanks my hand out from his side. More blood spurts out.
Simple cuts tend to heal quickly. But a wound like that will take about a day or two to fully heal.

"I—I didn't mean...." I stammer.
"Leave," he chokes out. "Before they find you. Take Zodith and hide. I'll say I lost track of you. We will meet again. Soon, hopefully." The wind whistles in my ears as I'm backed over a cliff overlooking the ocean.
"Brother...." He turns his head slightly when he hears the temple doors open. "Go." He shoves me, and for a dizzying moment, my entire world is upside down.

I watch the cliff and Bi-Han get smaller, then the image distorts as water rushes into my vision.

-Bi-Han's POV- "Where did Kuai go?" Hanzo yells as both him and Raiden rush over.
"I lost him. He stabbed me pretty good." They both wince at the damage.

"We'll find him. He couldn't have gotten far." Raiden states, drawing me away from the edge of the cliff. Hanzo looks down it, then frowns. "He'd be insane to jump off a cliff this high. Come on, let's get your wound treated. Don't want it to get infected."

"I'll look for him. Alone. He will become more hostile if you two are with me."
"Right. It would be best if you search alone." Hanzo admits. "Raiden and I will hunt down the remaining Titans in the meantime."

They both walk ahead of me, and I follow. I place my fingers on my lips gently, whispering a low prayer to Kuai.
"With the universe as my witness, protect my brother. Show him the light away from his wicked ways. Stars, guide him and be his map to safety. Clear his thoughts and free his heart from the dark chains encasing it....."
